Hi, John! I subscribed yesterday after discovering your channel. The last 2-3 days I've been binge watching your interviews with Kathy Garver, Butch Patrick, Erin Murphy, Bill and Angela, etc. I'm 60 years old and have been a huge TV/film geek since I can remember, so in a way these are my people. Thank you for providing all of this wonderful content, and keep up the great work.

Angela and Bill are by far the coolest and most talented child-turned-adult actors from the 1960s. Love their close bond with each other, the other cast, LIS’s legacy, and us fans. 👍😎😍🛸
So glad you enjoyed the interview. I agree they are very cool. I loved it! Please subscribe to my RUclips channel if you haven’t already as more great ones are coming:)
Both Angela and Bill haven't aged a day, spiritually; they are still immediately recognizable as my childhood heroes behind those glasses and beard. Those disguises didn't fool me for a second!

Great interview and show. I loved Lost In Space as a boy. I am about 2 years older than Bill Mumy, so I could relate to Will Robinson. Both Angela Cartwright and Bill Mumy was wonderful in this program. I did watch the new Netflix's Lost In Space and to my delight loved it. I recognized both Bill Mumy and Angela Cartwright as soon as I saw them. Thank you for presenting this program.
Thank you very much David. My pleasure. I loved interviewing both of them and am a big fan myself. I enjoyed the new Lost in Space as well. Please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already so you can be notified when I release a new episode:) Thanks again!
Billy and Angela both look Great in this interview. I remember after Lost in Space Angela did Clothing Modeling. My Mother had clothing catalogs and was a seamstress and Angela was prominent in many of them. Well Done.
Thanks and cool story about Angela. I never knew that. By the way, there are two interviews with Marta Kristen “Judy” on my channel you would enjoy as well😀
Hi Bill. Hi Angela! So GOOD to see. You both and hear your voices! I have enjoyed your presences in just about all you have done on TV since, well, 57 years! We made it! You both look GREAT. Though I am a few years younger, you look BETTER than me! That’s a good compliment because I don’t look too bad,( they say, not me). TV was real special in those days. The shows, the actors, the storylines…just all of it. Providence was certainly in charge! You can say you were lucky, but no. It was providence. Meant to be because those times would not have been so special had anyone else been in your shoes! It was all of you, good actors, writers and people whose true persona brought to this life the special unique quality of times and memories we had! It was”we” who hold these times dear in our hearts that are “lucky” to have experienced these times with you! LOVED Lost In Space! Danny Thomas and seeing all your other guest spots on the other great shows there were! …Stay Well! And continue to prosper from the depths of your hearts and souls!
Great interview! Bill is always a pleasure to listen to due to his enthusiasm for sharing his extraordinary life in the industry and, of course, his skillful articulation. Angela, on the other hand, has appeared in far fewer such chats and is thus a rare delight to behold here. Would love to read their book! A dream afternoon would be a lunch date with those two where I could fawn over them and pick their brains for more charming anecdotes. And throw in Angela’s sister Veronica for good measure! Another icon whom I treasure!
Oh definitely Christopher, Bill even knew Jonathan’s improv lines. Glad you enjoyed the interview! I think you might have already subscribed but if not please do so you can be notified of my next episode😀
Great interview! They are both so cool and creative. Angela has a great look going on! They are about the only celebrities that I would enjoy hanging out with.

@@ThatsClassicTVI have the complete series on DVD. It brings back so many memories of that time. I discovered so many classic tv series during that time because my family got cable tv for the first time in 1990. I got Bill and Angela's book too. It's fantastic.
Nice job John interviewing both at the same time☺ really enjoyed hearing Angela and Bill's stories...I would really like to read Bill's Autobiography when it comes out...
Thank you John, appreciate it. I loved talking with them as much as you enjoyed it. Please subscribe if you haven't already so you are notified of my next episode and Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson ) is the agenda:)
Two great actors of the 60's sci-fi movement. I watched all the episodes in the early 70's. I think what I appreciate now is eerily sci-fi music background. The music is important too. Maybe, find some of the musicians, and do a interview with them. Thank you, great interview of both iconic sci-fi, mid sixties actors who influenced millions through out the galaxy.
Roger, so glad you enjoyed the interviews as much as I enjoyed doing them. They certainly are iconic, what a great time for television. I appreciate the suggestion for interviewing musicians as well, I guess time will tell. Please subscribe if you haven't already so you can be notified when I publish my next interview. Im 65 now , living in Australia since 1969... i remember running home from school to watch LIS, like most young boys at the time, had a serious crush on Angela! Still do actually! i was extremely envious of Bill, lol

Another great interview w two great actors .. reviewing their careers was fantastic .. and relating to what was going on at the time on Lost in Space .. was in HS at the time
Wonderful interview with two icons. Lost in Space is definitely my favorite show. Glad I waited to buy the book since it's now expanded. You were all magnificent and it was quite delightful to watch. Fantastic job to you all. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ✌️❤️🙂
Thank you so much Mark! It was a blast. I know the new book sounds amazing and big! It was also one of my favorites as well. I believe you already are a subscriber but in case I am wrong please do:) See you on the next video.
Their robot remains my favorite robot of all time to this day. It's a masterpiece. One day, as robotics advances, I'll bet a whiz kid engineer will build a real working computerized automaton in its exact design, just to prove it could work.
B9 Creations was building exact working life size models that talked, walked-everything! There are still used ones for sale and a club that builds them too! Exact very impressive duplicates! Buying one can be like buying a car! Quite expensive, but worth it!
I really enjoy this interview with Bill and Angela I'm 62 now but when I was a kid only about 11 years old I had a great crush on Angela Cartwright or Penny I cannot wait for Lost in Space to come on .television and the evening time I would think of Penny 24 hours a day. And also when I was a child I would watch Lost in Space and some of those creatures would scare me back then.
I totally understand, it was a great show for it's time especially! Glad you enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed interviewing them. If you haven't already please subscribe, so you can be notified when I post a new one. Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) will be coming up very soon...
Honestly it went fast for me too, I loved talking to them:) Glad you had a good time listening to it. Please subscribe if you haven't already, Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) is coming up soon....
The early tone of the show - as Bill Mumy says it - is the only LIS series that works for me. Mainly the first 8 episodes, which I think are beautifully done; struggling to survive the natural elements of an alien environment.
One of the most treasured series of my youth. I developed a strong crush on Penny and admired the scientific skills and knowledge of Will. definitively the acting of Jonathan Harris was amazing and the Robot/Bob May was a mind trip to the future. Thanks !!
My pleasure and I thought the Bob May stories and his passion for the robot were amazing. If you haven't already please subscribe, Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) will be in the very near future:)
Angela is every bit as beautiful today as she was then. I remember her from the Danny Thomas show. I have the complete series on bluray. I'm almost 70 years of age and it's still one of my favorite TV shows.
Agreed and she says in the interview that Danny Thomas was like a second father to her. Glad you enjoyed the interview and it brought back great memories😀Please subscribe to my RUclips channel so you are notified when I release a new episode.
A great interview with two "kids" I grew up with. I must admit I had a bit of a crush on Angela and it was strange to see her now in my age group. Billy is quite interesting and does a perfect Jonathon Harris impersonation. I still watch the episodes to re-live my youth...
I still watch the episodes as well. Thank you for your kind feedback. I think a lot of boys had a crush on Penny. I laughed at Billy's impersonation, it was so dead on. If you haven't already please subscribe so you will be notified when I publish an episode. Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) is in the works...
It's really interesting, Lost In Space, The Waltons and The Brady Bunch, none of these shows had a proper farewell seasons. They were all cancelled without the casts knowing.
Thanks a bunch, I loved doing it especially as a Lost in Space fan😀They we’re both so informative and fun. Please subscribe if you haven’t already so you will be notified when I release my next episode. Also, watch the Marta Kristen interview as well 😀
This was such a treat! Thank you for doing this you all! I watched the original series on TV in Iran (dubbed). My sister and I anxiously waited a whole week for the next episode to be aired. I'm five years younger than Angela but had a mad crush on her! BTW, I like the original title theme music better. I guess the chromaticism and the electronic music went over the common denominator's head!
I am happy to hear that Darius. I enjoyed the interview as much as you did😀There are so many opinions about the theme music, I loved the original. Hope your sister gets to see the episode too. If you haven’t already done so, please subscribe 😀
Very interesting interview. I remember Dr. Smith calling the robot a bubble headed boogie. One of my favorite robot comments while rehearsing a serious play with Dr. Smith was his line on " cos baby it's cold outside".
I remember vividly, no pun intended, when TV shows began showing in color. I can still remember buying our first color TV, I was about 9 years old! We met my dad at a local furniture store after he got off work. I recall the salesman touting which shows were already being show in color (Bonanza, Tonight show, and Disney WWOC) and the many that would be in the upcoming season. I would watch a TV show just because it was in color. Maybe it was just my young eyes or false memory but the colors seemed to have been much more lively, brighter, vivid than they are today. Having said this I now enjoy watching shows, including LIS, in their original B&W format.
oh wow this is so cool, i love THE SOUND OF MUSIC & TWILIGHT ZONE, but as a small 9ish something in the 1960's, i couldn't get enough LOST IN SPACE, as much as i loved watching everyone on the show, the biggest attraction for me was the amazing JUPITER 2, i loved every nook & cranny and the first time a "friend" told me 'the inside doesn't match the outside', i got so mad & frustrated, it was like he hurt my little feelings, ha ha now but so serious to me back in the day, then to my horror, ABC put BATMAN up against the first half hour of (then still black & white) LOST IN SPACE and because BATMAN was half an hour & in color & my brother wanted to watch it, i had to give up the first half hour of 'my show' but then he got to see the second half of 'his show' the next night as well - oh the pain! hey - i don't know if you plan on having ANGELA and/or BILL for another interview, but if you do, can you see if they can or will confirm/deny that JUNE LOCKHART was, at that time, quite a rock & roll diva, turned them on to music & drove a antique firetruck to work everyday (or sometimes or at least had one) - thanks so much :) great job and best of luck with your channel :)
Thanks Jim. Fun story as well. Time will tell whether or not Bill and Angela come back at some point. They were a blast! Please sign for my channel if you haven't already:)

What I don't understand is how the three of you totally ignored June Lockhart, who is at present 99 years old, played in many iconic films like Meet Me in St Louis, was TV's mom in Lassie and Lost in Space and Dr. Janet Craig on the CBS television sitcom Petticoat Junction (1968-70). She played on General Hospital in the 1980's. She is a two-time Emmy Award nominee and a Tony Award winner. With a career spanning nearly 90 years, she is one of the last surviving actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood. How could you NOT talk about her?
There is only so much time and sometimes the conversation veers in different directions. Believe me I would have loved to have talked more about June, sorry about that😀
Wow, I remember watching "Lost in Space" and cringing every time they would talk "back" to their "Father". I lived in a horrific house filled with domestic violence so I was amazed that they got away with that. But, I sure wanted to be them, living like that. His best appearance in the Twilight Zone wasn't when he played "Pip", it was when he played "Anthony" in the episode "It's a Good Life"...
Definitely a different time. I love when he played Pip but I will have to go back and watch "It's a Good Life" again, thanks! Also, be sure to check out the two interviews I did with Marta Kristen on my channel, so interesting.
I lived on Hollywood and went to a party , as a child, with the producer, I asked him so many questions, everyone I had on my head. The Partridge family kids were there too but I had my sights on space!! I married a red head , even!!

I looked up the costume auctions. Although amazing opportunities, and the prices did them justice for their part in TV history, it's sad that they've been separated, as together they form a historical document.
Lendas! Nostalgia demais ver o reecomtro dos eternos irmãos astronautas mirins mais famosos da história da tv! O mesmo carisma daquela época. Saudades do Jonathan Harrys e dos eternos perdidos no espaço, os Robinson!

I could tell, during the interview, that Bill Mumy was sad about the missed opportunity to reunite with Guy Williams on "Family Feud" - the timing must have been difficult :(

@@ThatsClassicTV thanks for your reply. I shall indeed subscribe. What really struck me about the two stars interviewed was their evident care and regard for each other, and for other members of the cast. Like a real family, there might be dirty linen but it wasn’t going to be aired in public. They were gracious and modest. They were also such fun, so warm-hearted and hid the fact that it must require considerable patience to be interviewed endlessly about events fifty or so years ago when probably the best bit for them was when you asked them at the end to talk about what they’re up to now. I agree with you that to give former stars that chance to talk about their present and future is a good thing to do. Will with his music, Angela with her art . . it was nice for us to hear about that.
@@FelixRigg Thanks for subscribing Felix. They were very gracious and I hope they appreciate the opportunity to talk about things dear to their heart at the end. I love hearing about it and agree I think the fans do too. Enjoy the channel as I continue seek out more interesting interviews. I am actually speaking with Marta Kristen ( Judy Robinson) very soon....
Even as a kid we saw the change from season 1 to season 2-3. Season 1 was more like the outer limits or twilight zone where the scripts are more true to science fiction and serious. Then season 2 came ..the color and the fun begun. Again, as a kid we welcomed the change where we saw more of Doctor Smith and Will. It sure was more fun and could not wait for the next episode.... and yes there are a couple of very silly episodes.... And now with all episodes available .... they are as good to me as they were 50 years ago. Time to get that book...........

I knew Angela and Veronica in school at Saint Francis de Chantal in North Hollywood in the 1950's. I attended to Providence High School from 1966 to 1969. I had an art class in 1968 in Miss La Farve's class along with her mother, who came from France. Veronica Cartwright was in my class. I knew her. My name is Cynthia Taylor. Tribley Conreid was in my class her father Hans Conreid was a favorite actor. When I was a junior when Melissa Matheson was a senior at Providence High School. She wrote the movie ET and was married to Harrison Ford. All true. I lived on Van Noord in North Hollywood and spent my time biking. I biked passed Angela's home where she and Veronica lived in.
Too funny, that I was! Thank you, I love the show myself😀Hope you have subscribed and also caught the two interviews I did with Marta Kristen “Judy”, they are very interesting as well!
Always loved the velour shirts, and would of loved to have some of them. Curious to know what color velour shirts they would have had if a 4th season would have happened.
Yeah that 3rd season they wore the wildest velour outfits. They went all out. 4th season could have been really out there. Hope enjoyed the show and please subscribe if you haven't already:)
Bill finally even got to guest star in Star Trek Deep Space 9. He has done it all. Angela got to guest star in Air Wolf. Among many other shows and movies for both of them. Those colorful costumes were made to sell color TVs just like the colorful uniforms in Star Trek.
Yeah, it feels like they both have had so many opportunities to be on these shows. It's awesome. I am sure the colorful costumes help sell color tv's. My parents were definitely influenced. Rob, thanks for all your commentary. I think the show was way ahead of its time too. The first season is pretty special. That was interesting about Jeffrey Hunter as well. Angela and Bill are unique in that they didnt get into lifestyles that were detrimental to them that many child stars do. Im sure they must really get tired of the same ole questions they have answered a million times. Its new to the questioner but not to them. Kudos to them for being good sports about it. Im sure there are interviewers out there that try to trip them up on previous answers or get them to trash someone.
I am sure there are but we had a great time. If you haven't already please subscribe so you will be notified when I release a new episode. Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) is in the works...
I'm halfway through this clip and am really enjoying it. Sometimes you watch something and you like the actors better than the show they're in. I know that doesn't make sense, but anyway, I'm not entirely into Lost in Space, but I'd like to see it again...just for the actors because they were all so great. My real comment is about the lightening-up of the show in the second season. I remember watching reruns that had a more sinister opening credit sequence with the darker theme and the astronaut figures barely supported by those bungees or whatever those tubes were that kept them together. I prefer that sequence over the lighter non-menacing theme in later seasons. However, I once rented the DVD with the pilot and I didn't like THAT Dr. Smith, I started watching reruns with the more comical Dr Smith, and was jolted by the difference. I'm thinking of renting the series again and I will watch the pilot again, because I know Smith will be funny again later on. Christ I'm such a 12 year-old (always preferred comedy when I was growing up, maybe that's it).
Hopefully we all still have a 12 year old self inside:) I am sure you will enjoy going back to watch the series again. I still do. If you haven't already please subscribe more great interviews are in the works! Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) is in the works...
I don't know but I understand why you would want them to come to Spain:) hope you enjoyed the interview! If you haven't already please subscribe, so you can be notified when I post a new one. Marta Kristen will be coming up very soon on my show...
I'd like to know more about Innovation Comics. Cool story, but that unfortunate family was Lost In Space after the 13th issue. I believe i have all of the issues, including some special silver and gold foil ones.. Still, i've often wondered how that story worked out.
This was my favorite show. I was 8 years old and was planning on marrying Bill Mumy. Loved Angela and Marta. All of the actors were great. However, I missed the vibe of season 1. The show got too campy, and as much as I loved seeing "my future husband" the rest of the cast were rarely given any lines. It became the Dr Smith and Will show.
I love your story and I think a lot of young girls felt the same way about Bill Mumy😀Bill talks about why Irwin Allen shifted the tone of the show in the interview.
First of all, thank you very much for the super thanks, very kind. I appreciate it. I also remember Wild Wild West, Star Trek and Mannix and still love them today. Those shows hold up. As I am watching them now it just takes me back to that time. Believe me if Robert Conrad were alive I would be talking with him😀
@@ThatsClassicTV No problem. If you get a chance, you might ask any of the Lost in Spacers if they had contact with any Star Trek, Wild Wild West or Mannix. I don't believe I've seen that asked as of yet. They were shot in the same years as LIS. They were all with CBS, they may have crossed paths with some of the other shows. Naturally Bill Mumy won't tell you any of that. Ya gotta buy his book! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You absolutely made me bust a gut when you said Bill won't tell you..ya gotta buy his book! Too funny😂I am in touch with Marta from time to time and will ask her the next time we talk.@@johnsimon2988
@@mitchellmelkin4078 True. I read abt how the explosion had inflicted seizure type attacks. He later blacked out going down some stairs in his home, smacking his head in a fatal fall, I believe it was.
Season 1 was certainly not over-the-top scary to me as a kid. I had heard that the same complaint happened with Batman. Villains like Falseface were somehow critiqued as being too scary and the major camp began in season 2 with that show as well. With Lost in Space, I don't know why but my favorite seasons are in the order of 1, 3, 2. I think it's because season 3 had more flying in the spaceship than season 2.
@@ThatsClassicTV Season three also had that anti-matter John and Don episode and the episode where Smith saves Don's life, a gratitude that didn't last long. Both episodes were refreshing changes to the typical scripts.
It's interesting looking up the date of the LIS pilot. It was only a couple of years after America made its first manned orbit around the Earth. Now, early tv has a show about man's colonizing deep space. That's a big leap for early tv.
Sorry to hear that Joseph, I hope they are able to come out with an electronic version one day for you:) Hope you enjoyed the interview. Please subscribe so you can be notified when I publish a new episode, Marta Kristen (Judy Robinson) is coming up soon...

John, you made what could have been a typical Boomer gab into an interesting interview. Good job.
On the road with Jan & Lorraine getting to watch TV was so fun! Listen to #33 and that’s me!
Just A W E S O M E! Thanks, John, Angela and Bill. 🙂 I can highly recommend the book and Blu-rays. Absolutely wonderful. Great interview. 🙂 💜💜👏

I really enjoy this interview with Bill and Angela I'm 62 now but when I was a kid only about 11 years old I had a great crush on Angela Cartwright or Penny I cannot wait for Lost in Space to come on .television and the evening time I would think of Penny 24 hours a day. The early tone of the show - as Bill Mumy says it - is the only LIS series that works for me. Mainly the first 8 episodes, which I think are beautifully done; struggling to survive the natural elements of an alien environment.
It's been a while since I've watched the series, but I remember the b&w episodes as being much better than the color stuff.
Oh yeah..the series eventually turned into a Sid and Marty Kroft children's show.....lol
My brain slipped a gear for a moment and though Angela's father was Ben Cartwight.
Love Lost In Space!
Well then I think you will enjoy this interview, great memories😀
Thank you, lovely interview.

One of the most treasured series of my youth. I developed a strong crush on Penny and admired the scientific skills and knowledge of Will. definitively the acting of Jonathan Harris was amazing and the Robot/Bob May was a mind trip to the future. Thanks !!

Angela is every bit as beautiful today as she was then. I remember her from the Danny Thomas show. I have the complete series on bluray. I'm almost 70 years of age and it's still one of my favorite TV shows.

A great interview with two "kids" I grew up with. I must admit I had a bit of a crush on Angela and it was strange to see her now in my age group. Billy is quite interesting and does a perfect Jonathon Harris impersonation. I still watch the episodes to re-live my youth...

It's really interesting, Lost In Space, The Waltons and The Brady Bunch, none of these shows had a proper farewell seasons. They were all cancelled without the casts knowing.
Very insightful, it is crazy that they just left the show and never had closure. Yet their shows continue to play on and on...

Rich, that is so funny. Thrilled you enjoyed the interview. It was so fun. I think you already are subscribed from what I recall:)
Thanks for the story. It was a special time for TV.
Lost in Space is part of my life and guide.
Fun to hear, hope the interview highlighted some great moments for you!
oh wow this is so cool, i love THE SOUND OF MUSIC & TWILIGHT ZONE, but as a small 9ish something in the 1960's, i couldn't get enough LOST IN SPACE, as much as i loved watching everyone on the show, the biggest attraction for me was the amazing JUPITER 2, i loved every nook & cranny and the first time a "friend" told me 'the inside doesn't match the outside', i got so mad & frustrated, it was like he hurt my little feelings, ha ha now but so serious to me back in the day, then to my horror, ABC put BATMAN up against the first half hour of (then still black & white) LOST IN SPACE and because BATMAN was half an hour & in color & my brother wanted to watch it, i had to give up the first half hour of 'my show' but then he got to see the second half of 'his show' the next night as well - oh the pain!
hey - i don't know if you plan on having ANGELA and/or BILL for another interview, but if you do, can you see if they can or will confirm/deny that JUNE LOCKHART was, at that time, quite a rock & roll diva, turned them on to music & drove a antique firetruck to work everyday (or sometimes or at least had one) - thanks so much :)

I looked up the costume auctions. Although amazing opportunities, and the prices did them justice for their part in TV history, it's sad that they've been separated, as together they form a historical document.

Even as a kid we saw the change from season 1 to season 2-3. Season 1 was more like the outer limits or twilight zone
where the scripts are more true to science fiction and serious. Then season 2 came ..the color and the fun begun.

I'd like to know more about Innovation Comics. Cool story, but that unfortunate family was Lost In Space after the 13th issue. I believe i have all of the issues, including some special silver and gold foil ones.. Still, i've often wondered how that story worked out.
It has to be pretty cool to have all the issues. Wish I could help but if I ever interview Bill again I will try to remember to ask. Enjoy😀
Favorite episode was with J5
So funny everybody has their favorite episodes😀
This was my favorite show. I was 8 years old and was planning on marrying Bill Mumy. Loved Angela and Marta. All of the actors were great. However, I missed the vibe of season 1. The show got too campy, and as much as I loved seeing "my future husband" the rest of the cast were rarely given any lines. It became the Dr Smith and Will show.
I love your story and I think a lot of young girls felt the same way about Bill Mumy😀Bill talks about why Irwin Allen shifted the tone of the show in the interview.
Aieee! The Mumy Lives!
He certainly does😀
Dr. Smith: "You babbling bucket of bolts!"
😂😂
Wasn't Eileen Heckart in Somebody up There likes Me?
Yes she was.
I appreciate the look behind the curtain. There's no left from Mannix or Wild WIld West to talk to, is there. Sigh. Thank you.

On-set special effects explosions. That's what killed Jeffrey Hunter, who did Star Trek's pilot. A few years later doing a movie in Spain.
@robvangessel3766, That accident did start a chain of events that led to his death, but it wasn't the direct cause.
@@mitchellmelkin4078 True. I read abt how the explosion had inflicted seizure type attacks. He later blacked out going down some stairs in his home, smacking his head in a fatal fall, I believe it was.
Everyone i knew pronounced Bill's Name as Mummy.
It is certainly an easy mistake😀
Season 1 was certainly not over-the-top scary to me as a kid. I had heard that the same complaint happened with Batman. Villains like Falseface were somehow critiqued as being too scary and the major camp began in season 2 with that show as well. With Lost in Space, I don't know why but my favorite seasons are in the order of 1, 3, 2. I think it's because season 3 had more flying in the spaceship than season 2.
I never noticed that they flew the ship more in season 3 but that is a fair point if so. It was always cool to see the ship flying moments👍
@@ThatsClassicTV Season three also had that anti-matter John and Don episode and the episode where Smith saves Don's life, a gratitude that didn't last long. Both episodes were refreshing changes to the typical scripts.
@@joerock5261 Those are great episodes!
It's interesting looking up the date of the LIS pilot. It was only a couple of years after America made its first manned orbit around the Earth. Now, early tv has a show about man's colonizing deep space. That's a big leap for early tv.
Heard Harris was difficult to work with...🤪 "Oh dear, oh my, what's to become of me?!"
Interesting, Jonathan Harris sounded like an actor who went after what he wanted and really created the importance of Dr. Smith on the show.
