    Thank you for such wonderful details. I am an experienced sewer and knew your tips, but for a beginner, it is so totally wonderful. A lot of people forget that not everyone knows all the secrets to sewing. Thanks again. Angie

    Very nice job!!! Also it's one of the few tutorials that the hat is not that festive and you can enjoy it all year long. Keep up the good work ^^

      @@LionAroundSewing I wish I could post a picture here. I don’t have any social media to show you how cool it turned out. I made the tunic out of a large t-shirt and the hat out of a 2nd large t-shirt and it had just the right amount of stretch. His link costume was a terrific hit! The hat was the real clincher. Thanks again!

    I crochet elf hats and was given a sewing machine fot Xmas...the joy of finding this video is real! Im a newbie sewer...can I ask please, wouldany material work...does it have to be fleece?

    • @LionAroundSewing
      @LionAroundSewing  11 месяцев назад

      That’s so exciting! I love working with fleece because you don’t have to worry about it fraying and it has stretch to it, which is nice for hats. Cotton and flannel would be cheaper but they won’t have stretch and would fray so you would have to finish your edges. When looking for new fabrics to try I would just see what feels nice and if it has a little stretch.

    Thanks for a wonderful detailed video, but hard to find this video because of the name. When I search for sleeping cap, I get many hits, but not yours. Easy to miss your wonderful video. 🙏😊

    Used this pattern to make a hat that is half purple and half black. My son wanted it to look like Jevils jester hat. Jevil is a character from Deltarune.
