Someone said Lee Barden is the best ever. But SO FAR , I haven't seen anything better than this. Definitely, inspires me. I bet you he can do this even if he is intoxicated-- shows you he is doing it unconsciously.

The practical use of wrist flips is to swtich between different striking and defensive styles. When used in freestyle like this it's pretty to wacth also :)

Very Nice. Respect. I can do about 60% of your moves at half speed and ive been practicing for many years. I cant seem to speed up without becoming reckless. Can you sedn a close up pic of your chucks or recommend a good retailer. I would like to see a pic if possible because my best nunchucks have always been homemade. Usuall around 5" chain/11"chuck.

  • @AdnanCucak

First off, that is truly a master, very fast. Second, Bruce lee died of a hyper alergic reaction to a medicin he was given but the doctor didnt have knowledge that he would react to the medicin in that way. He didnt Master the nunchaku but that dosnt mean he wouldnt kill anyone who faced him in a fight.

oh, NunChakus are supposed to be like second nature.
Most of what you learn from training in it is experience unlike other weapons that you train under.
    Thats whats great about it

That's pure circus tricks, the chucks alone rotate fast, but he moves his hands as though we was afraid to hurt himself;) BTW. He surely wears a nut-protection, otherwise he would have had noting but scrambled eggs in his pants by now ;)

nope fancy stuff, is good exercise for you coordination which inhances the ability to fight with them. but in a real fight, you would not be twirling them around your wrist, neck or what not.
misdirection is different, those are performance tricks and exercises.

@manoubi72 Yeah, well at least a self taught nunchaku do ka like myself who has yet to confront real training understands the concept of freestyle vs real kumite effective techniques, of course the wrist spins are used to often, and he uses virtually no reverse grab moves.
Don't worry though, I am sure many watching this video do not comment with stuff like "Useless in a real fight" or something cuase they know its merely demonstrative.
And I'd love to train in your club, where u at?

dag, you people are mean. I suck but I still think it looks pretty fancy. I'm trying to learn to figure out that simple finger wrist movement and I sure as hell beat the crap out of myself trying to learn to flip these things around in a pretty manner. I'm also a student of Jeet Kune do, and hold Bruce Lee with high regard in my thoughts.
Y'all just jealous a dude with a gut and a mullet can flip the chucks like this and you can't.

I OWN IT!!! a copy of it anyways. i purchased it from the guy in the vid off of ebay years ago, he use to have a self run website advertising his video, the reason he doesnt look that enthusiastic is solely because it is for instruction, he breaks all those moves down in the video

props dude haveing getting close to doin what u can myself i understand how hard it is.
