you should isolate the metal discs from the iron rod otherwise you are shortening the signal
It's specifically the second disc, the signal catcher if you will.
That needs to be isolated, the rest are fine.

When you had two antennae attached to the router so 1. Why did you hang one on top of the roof 2. if the rooftop antenna is essential so where did you connect this antenna. 3.is this transmits and receive signal both ways. 4. What is the range for RX and TX

the second plate 68 mm must be connected but not to have contact vith other metal parts. So this fi fi gun its produced by stupid guy. Must be bigger hole on that part then put plastic betveen of the 68 th mm disc . off cours if you what Antenna will work for you as the best

so you know middle rod doesn't effect the RF signals but you can use any material even wood if you can get it to fit straight

Using 75 ohm cable and the adapter using unshielded conductors whith varying separation between them?

There is no sim card on ur modem so what's the purpose you are using this antenna. Depends of frequency band width size of the disc and spacing between disc will differ. This is for sim modem type. This is misleading hahah

need at lease better quality wife router or modem with 100 miliwatt power
is fake it wont work, you cannot just increase antena gain forever, you need to increase the radiation power as well. 3000 mw is enough until +8db. His antenas is +20db. It doesnt work like that. The adapter power needs to grow exponentialy with antena gain. A +20db needs around 200000mw or 200 watt to reach 10km range. Imagine how much it iradiates if you stand in front of it.
You cannot exceed +20dBm (100mW) without license

stop bulhiting people, fist of all that antenna is wrong made, the parasitic element shouldnt touch the boom or touch each other , second- the dimensions are wrong , an atenna needs exactly measurements, thats the why we use calculators to make them and thats the why companies spent milions in researches and 3th- to get 10km out of an antenna its impossible , an atenna is not a signal amplifier - so just STOP!!! - go back and make fences or whatever leave the antennas for specialised people.

It's yagi antenna. Well proper name is Yagi-Uda antenna. Also called a beam antenna (because of strong narow directions)
Theory is simple to say: waves have lenght you place "Reflector elements" on the end (it's solder to coax), "Directors" those are the small disc (leght of 2,4Ghz is 30-31,5mm). The middle disc on the end (that one where core of coax cable is solder) is "grabping" signal.
Well and better use 50 ohms cable(it's better for 2,4Ghz to 5Ghz) 75 ohms SAT cable.

Well router cast signal not receive like modems. He was casting signal in direction pointing by antenna. Still if you wanna better omni just go for Bi-Q antenna. And use of 75 Ohm cable yeah...
