great job whats the knack of not getting lines when cutting the hedge as im into my first year and i have cut a few hedges but i get lines so im not to comfortble when i have a hedge to cut,
You have to trim as tight as possible depending on what you are trimming. Conifer especially you have to have a steady and confident hand. Try and line up the cut with the previous one you’ve done. It takes practice 😅👍
I've been using a Stihl Combi for years, it's really up to the jobs for a working gardener & good value so when worn out you just replace the power unit, although I'm only on my 2nd since 2009, all year round working. But it's heavy & noisy. Circumstances may dictate that I have to get something lighter. How's the balance with this? You were happy with the battery what about the job it did? How long to recharge from empty?
Yes I also have been using the combi for years now and still will. This is much lighter and easier on my back. It did a really good finish on the conifer. I wouldn’t want to try it on anything too thick! 👍
Thanks glad you are enjoying the videos. I’m still trying to work out RUclips! Some people seem to get great views by keeping it simple I have tried both 🤷♂️😄
@@mdgardenservices7819 is it ok to ask what you charge to cut that top and sides once a year with all waste away sorry if thats a annoying question lol
What an improvement! That looks so good. Very neat and tidy. The new hedge trimmer certainly does the trick. Well done.
It certainly did🙂👍

Thank you 😊
Battery hedge cutters are so much nicer to use, a good sized hedge you trimmed there, a fine job sir ! 👌
Yes very nice after years of petrol tools! 😄👍
You won't look back now for trimming now you've made the move to battery. Obviously petrol for the heavier jobs. Nice work 👍
Thanks, it was partly down to your review video as you have been using them for some time now. So thank you😊👍

nice job! how do you know how far back to trim back the branches to get it real flat and even like that?
With conifer hedges you trim as tight as possible but not beyond the green growth 😊👍

It takes about an hour to charge from empty depending which charger you have.
👍👍
