The track "Life On Mars" is based on the feeling of loneliness and the feeling that you don't really belong here. You feel or act different than the people around you, maybe even get some weird looks. You feel like you were ment to be somewhere else, where you can be your true self. You start exploring to find that place, which in this track is represented by 'Mars'.
It is very common to feel 'weird' or 'out of place'. People tend to judge quick without knowing the full story. But know, everyone feels like an 'Alien' at some point in their life!
