This continuous pricing in dollars needs to be stopped by the government to be honest otherwise the country will slowly be mortgaged off to rich foreigners and leave the rest of the locals living in slums ...FYI this much for a house and it doesn’t even have a swimming pool 🤔

This is what l have been saying about "diaspora" going back to Africa to settle. They tend to want to replicate "Western" ways of life to Africa as a result everything including basic commodities are becoming ever more expensive and out of reach for the citizens. If l may ask, why are u importing materials, why can't developers look at making/producing those materials locally? Do u realise u are boosting the economies of those countries you buy those materials from whilst destroying yours! We Africans needs to get our priorities right.

Aristocrats are everywhere. Just like most Europeans, Asians, or Arabs can’t afford a million dollar home does not mean there isn’t someone out there who will buy them. This house isn’t for everyone to buy it’s for the aristocrat/upper middle class Ugandans to buy. In America this house would be priced at 900 thousand for the amount of material and architecture that went into this design. And even in The US most Americans can’t afford that. Same would apply in Uganda. That is basic capitalism and it’s beautiful!
