Your recent load of tutorials have been incredible, I like how quick and direct they are. I'm a beginner but these are really useful. If there was a way you could make a tutorial in this format but about more generalized end-products or concepts (rather than making a scene or objects) then I think you'd be one of the biggest channels. As a noob I'm not even sure if that's possible though!!

I have tried everything I can think of. Ive toggled the "Clip start and end" on both the camera and in the view tab. Any suggestions? thank you
That’s very strange. Clipping planes just cut off the near and far stuff that gets rendered. Try going really small like .02 and see what happens, then try 2.0 and see if there’s any real change? I’m curious... thanks!
Thanks!! To answer your question, shadows in EEVEE are weird but controllable to a degree. There is a shadow setting where the opaque, etc setting is for shaders. Thanks! I’m slammed at the moment, but you can import directly from the Protein Data Bank in .pdb format. That should make it way easier for you, and more accurate. Enable the PDB import addon in preferences.
I did it exectly step by step but my material looks a lot different, subsurface looks different. Is it possibile that this is because i did it in a very small scale?
I spent hourse to figure it why. I think this is because of refraction turned on. It makes a lot of difference. If it is turned on it somehow kills subsurface. I had it turned off before and even small subsurface gives a much more relistic effect. In tutorial it is turned on. On the other i am not sure if in tutorial he turned on subsurface translucency and screen space refraction on in material settings?
Oh wow, I didn't see this response... Sorry... Yeah, I think you're hitting it. Eevee is very fickle with both of those and I'm getting some similar things every now and then...
Once it’s rendered, you can save it from the menu. You can also set it to render to a folder from the render panel on the right side of the screen. Either will work.
You’re welcome Mark! At that point I’d go to the protein database and grab one. Decimate does a nice job on that stuff. If you install the Atomic add-on, you could import pdb files directly.
