It's a really good start that they're comfortable on you. That'll just make everything easier. They've got a good appetite and want to fly so I think they're doing pretty good. It takes time for you both to develop a routine you both are happy with. They'll train you just as much as you train them.
Roudybush is a reputable pellet. My boy was started on them after weaning and i continued him on them. I just also dicovered Lafeber's gourmet pellets for conures. They have fruit in them also.
@@blessednestpets tbh from what I’ve seen in your videos you’re doing great. You already have your bird on a good diet so training should be super easy. They do get very bonded to their owner and wanna be with you 24/7 so you have to make sure they know how to entertain themselves when you aren’t around so they aren’t so stressed when you leave. They will scream none stop
@@blessednestpets Just a tip, birdtricks pellets are TOP's pellets! you can find TOPs a little cheaper, and they're available on many online bird supply stores, so you get to save on shipping too! best of luck on your performing birdie
She was four months old when I got her and required no hand feeding but all babies wean at different rates. Check with your breeder to see when theirs are weaned :)
Thanks for the tip! My issue currently is that she often flies to the floor and I can't wear tennis shoes because I have a contusion on the top of my foot :/
@@blessednestpets you have a reasonably sized cage for a bird of that size, especially if the conure is spending a lot of the day outside of the cage.

Ive had a PGC before. GCs and their variations get to be cuddly birds with personalities.
Very cute
I’ve owned 2 gcc great birds
Any GCC specific advice? I've worked with a lot of birds but never a green cheek (before this one haha)

Tips: don't let her see your feet. Conures are very attractive to feet and will bite very hard

@blessednestpets oh ok don't worry hope it gets better
How big is the cage?
@@christopherramirez1070 3 ft tall, 32in wide, 2ft deep :) I know some people have bigger cages, but it’s the best I can do for now.

@@blessednestpetsyou dont need a high cage, but a wide and length one, use the food in boxes in beneath to make the height😂
