Actually Torterra weak nhi hua tha bus woh uska speed kam ho jane k kaaran demotivate ho gaya tha aur issi demotivation k wajah se woh battle haar jata tha, woh sirf apne speed ko hie apna plus point maanta tha jiske wajah se Torterra ne apne baaki sab plus point ko neglect kar diya tha, and the rest is history😌

I think that torterra didn't actually became weak after evolving
Actually the oponents it faught after evolution were much stronger than him, one was elite four memmbers pkmn hippoudon, one electivire of Volkner (which i think it could've defeat but ok) and Paul's drapion, which it almost defeated but it lost because drapion was faster
So technically torterra isn't actually that weak
Ya because his is a turtoise but when he was turtwig he was fast but when he evolved in torterra he became slow and weak
