Seeing that rooster run right back into the pen after you finally lured him out was funny and I laughed at you being outsmarted by a little bird. My cat enjoys my giggle I get when watching. So many toys and goes for my comb. Every week she smells my incision Paracentesis and knows I hurt. She will sleep on the opposite side. Animals are really smart.

I have a Little Bantam and he is the Sweetest Little Rooster. He has 3 hens and they have been held and fooled with from baby chicks. My grandma who was under 5’ tall used to grab chickens by the head and twirl them around to break their necks. They’d end up on the Sunday dinner table. My dad used to cut their heads off. That was the worse. I’d never watch anything like that again. Roosters used to chase me all over our farm. They were big Rhode Island Reds and White Leghorns, almost as big as I was at the time.

Animals particularly horses and dogs feel your energy. The people around them to be calm and soft spoken. Chickens are another thing. I hate birds they terrify me. Scared as a child picking eggs in a coop and being attacked. That’s why I wear long pants and boots.

The horses are wild cuz nobody takes care of them. You just try to do what you can and try not to get hurt. There has got to be a better way to change the water and feed. Wow I am afraid of crazy chickens!!! If you do not change the way of treating these horses they will be "problem-horses" very soon. Alone that fast catching with the halter- thus makes horses afraid and agressive bc preditor's are acting this way. They have been so cal when you got them and look now: you can't even get one put of the pasture. Jake you need another riding and horse-behavior teacher or you will get hurt and you just overcame your feary. I dont know why people must don't listen?? Please ivercime your ego's!!!
