If you remove the end weights. And ride long distance . If you fit barkbusters the accessory end weight you can buy removes the vibration. The vibration@@RoiaMotois not bad but builds If u ride 300 k or so in one go.
😎 glad it helped! Simple job but not intuitive. Most people would exepct the screw on the end of the handlebar to unscrew the bar end weights. You can also just knock the bar end weights out but then you won't be able to reuse the metal clip later.
You don't need to expose the hole in the bar, all you need to do is put the tip of a flat-blade screwdriver between the tang and the end of the bar, push down and twist, and the clip comes out - the hole is there for the nub to click into, but you don't have to push the nub, just twist the tang at the end of the bar. Takes a few seconds.
Hi mate, I haven’t done like that yet. I’m having trouble to see how you can twist, and push 2 opposite nubs on opposite sides at the same time with a screw driver. Have you done it like that yet?
@@RoiaMoto I've done it any number of times like that (on Hondas with this style of bar-end weight) - you just put the tip of flat-blade screw driver between the tang and the bar end, push and twist and the nub pops out of the hole in the bar... [the top] one is usually enough to free the spring clip, but if you can't then pull the weight assembly out, then do it again on the lower/opposite tang so that both nubs are free.
I had to use a hammer and a screw-driver. Not one video, not one forum comment, no advice was helpful. It's not a fun or easy process. It will not be easy for anyone.
Thanks a lot for the advice!
Glad it was helpful!
Super video !!!
Thank you!
Nice! What happende to your 300L? Did you sell it?
The 300L still here. The 300 Rally is from a friend of mine. I just took the chance to make some videos with his motorycle ;).
Glad u did . The rally is good for long travel.@RoiaMoto
Why would you remove the bar-end weights?
Install handguards.

I pull it out only by force 😂 very easy and simple
That also does it 😂. If you won’t need the metal “holder” again just pull it off.

Hey mate
Have you tried the way I showed him
In the video?
It should work every time 😎
