The painful part of youtube is watching your favorite artists and heroes age and be healthy to unhealthy to weathered to young again in videos which are all next to eachother. You see them bounce back to only realize the video was twelve years ago and they went down again. The talent and genius is so immense the human body and mind can't seem to handle it and this man was a true talent.
This is my fav song from tavis, its an amazing somg, what a telented guy!! Its a dam shame what meth has done to him the fact hes able to make a great come back and not completly ruin his gift goes to show that no matter what drug someone abuses nothin can xtinguish the human spirit and will!!! Rock on travis!

Saw Travis 2x live in NYC...First time w/ his whole band for the Red album tour @ The Mercury Lounge...& I hung w/ him for a couple hours talking about music & drinking... it was right after Layne Staley died & we just went on & on about Layne..I told him I thought the Green album was one of the best albums to come out in the last 15yrs. & the look in his eyes changed & he turned somewhat shy & timid!! He loves life & I will never forget hanging w/ him..I only wish I had brought my damn camera!

I do have a few shows from '97 and '98, but I'm looking for newer shows that still have great quality, and I love the sound on this one! If you have the whole concert, would you possibly be willing to share it with me so I can remaster it and include it with the compilation?
For starters, Travis Meeks is one of the most talented artists ever! He's strong, smart, and a master of his craft. He kicked the drugs, which takes more strength than most people could ever do. And as for his looks, he's beautiful. Losing his hair doesn't affect his music in the least. Thankfully he's not someone like Tommy Lee who needs his looks to carry him. Open your mind people and shut your mouth. He's back and more focused than ever. Give him the credit he deserves! Prepare for Purple!

If you go to the Days' MYSpace page, there is a video of Travis playing this song recently. He sounds much better than he does in this video. You can tell how much being sober makes a differance. Thank God he's clean now!
I’ve seen it all from Days of the new to ,Tantric ,live ,studio albums all of it. It all still touches me in that place only this voice and talent can.

Travis could straight BRING IT. One of the most underrated bands of the 1990s imo. Unique voice and presence. May God bring him grace and peace.

Awesome song and video being live and raw however I believe this was filmed back in 02 or 03 though.
This is by far the most honest and intense live presentation I've ever seen. Travis gives 110% of himself during this performance.
Travis Meeks needs to help write songs for other bands out there. He has to be one of he best song writers out there.
