Days of Yore Trailer

How many ways can people preserve history? Surprisingly, many. Ranging from young to old, from the Revolutionary War to Afghanistan, personal kits to entire units, I made it my responsibility to show what reenactors do to preserve the history of the world in ways I never imagined. So here's a trailer for an upcoming documentary that will hopefully be released by Spring 2025.

As someone who's reenacted for over 25 years and then who has gone overseas and served, I've seen a lot and experience as far as reenacting myself in real time. But the most fun I have now is school displays. I have 3 daughters, and the school allows me to bring anything I want. So for example for WWI I taught the kids machingunnery, and brought a working Madson, Vickers, and 1910 russian Maxim, and let the kids actually learn hands on how the guns function, loading, firing and sighting. I had 2 other volunteers, we were all in different WWI kits, for WWII, I drove a weapons carrier to the school and a friend brought his halftrack. And we gave all the kids rides. What Im getting at is, being able to focus on the educational side of it, I find the most satisfying after all these years.

This was well done, I’ll be watching for the documentary
