Will it interfere with the RAM, forcing you to raise the fan, meaning you can no longer fit it in the case or to use low profile RAM instead? Will it push up against the GPU? What are the pros of it over AIO / LC - such as, it helps to cool the VRM, it's usually cheaper, there's no risk of a leak if you keep your PC for 3 or more years, it can be just as quiet as LC if you use larger PWM fans with a fan curve. Another excellent build. Complete and detailed as always Chris. Thank you. From all your PC builds, what is your favorite PC Case? Brand and form factor.
Would there be enough space for Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB which is 11mm thicker than Lian-Li GALAHAD 360mm? Width and length are the same. Same motherboard.
Glad you tried booting the pc before updating your BIOS. Looks like that seems to work. But I still feel hesitant to do it. I might just do it the safer way as you have shown in your previous videos.
Help me! I can’t figure out where to put the rgb header I have an asus prime b365m-a mother board and there’s only a 4 pin spot that says rgb_header and the cable doesn’t go anywhere else
Thank you for posting this video. It was my first build!! I followed it 100% (same parts) and everything went smoothly. Where I’m running into an issue is in the Bios > cpu core > fan control .. I don’t see any other fans except system 4. 🤷🏼♀️ some guidance would be much appreciated please!
Not sure if you ever got an answer on this, but here's one in case you didn't, and for anyone else. Because this case uses a fan hub, all the fans connected to the fan hub will follow the fan control for that particular connection. For example: if you plug the fan hub into system 4 fan slot on the motherboard - any changes you make to system fan 4 in the BIOS will control all the fans, not just one fan individually. If you want to control each fan individually, or in groups (front, top, bottom), you'll need to connect your fans to the directly to the motherboard, or daisy chain the appropriate fans and plug one fan directly into the motherboard, bypassing the fan hub.
Maybe a note that the CPU cooler sometimes comes with a layer of pre-applied paste, so you wouldn't need to add any extra paste to the CPU. I'm not sure the fan directly above the PSU will do much good but I guess it looks better to fill that gap and to use the 5th fan. I wish the PSU shroud had no cutout as it makes it trickier to find a PSU that is the "right way up". I also wish the fan hub had a few 4-pin PWM plugs. It looks like a really well designed case and their website is excellent: www.antec.com/product/case/df700-flux.php But I prefer 140mm fans so I'd be paying for 3 or 4 120mm fans that I wouldn't be using. By including 5 fans, I think this case will perform very well against other cases in the stock configuration and will be near the top of the charts, particularly versus cases that ship with only 1 or 2 fans. But it's the cases with just 1 or 2 fans that would interest those adding their own cooling.
Great video - I am about to start my build. Just wondering what screws are needed for the fans, seems like 30mm but is there any more info I need before buying?
Thanks for this mate, just built my first PC although I have done bits and pieces over the last few decades like changing cpu, power supplies, and ram. I would have been lost without this video as the instructions from the case itself are crap. Why dont they say which screws are which? I used ones that I thought were correct to screw the motherboard to the case but the built in IO shield was loose, I noticed that the motherboard wasn't screwed down tight enough yet the screws were tight, so thought I would try the smaller screws (too small for Phillips No 2.), no idea if these are the correct ones but the case is now firmly down and the IO at the back is not loose anymore. Now a mixture of two types of screws as too hard to remove and replace the rest.
Great job as always !! Thanks for the video! If I understand you correctly I don't have to use the "BIOS flash back" function before I install the newest ryzen 5 cpu. Will I still be able to go to the bios to do what I need to do with the normal bios update process? (As you did in the video) Or is it safer to update the BIOS with the "BIOS flash back" function before I installing the cpu and ram? (as the original msi page writes )

Just want to point out that you installed a NVME from a brand that is not on the motherboard manufacturer's QVL: www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK#support-hdd While the drives are supposed to just work due to the form factor, there's no guarantee that you won't run into a problem with Power / Sleep, or possibly something worse. I've run into this issue, and I've also spoken to Sabrent about it. My impression is that their support is poor, they their testing to ensure compatibility with a wide array of Motherboards is minimal, at best (IMO). For anyone looking to build a PC similar to the one above, I recommend picking out a good, quality drive from a brand that is on the QVL (even if it costs a few extra bucks).

Nice video, on the argb controller, where do I plug the lead into labelled PG PIN on the controller? Edit..into JRAINBOW
Late to this awesome case's official build party. 🥳 since it comes stock with so many fans and pretty much copies the Lancool II Mesh RGB layout but with more fan space, I wonder how it compares for temps! Edit: I see you've made an excellent case review with thermals as well! How does it compare to the Lancool II Mesh RGB?
Hey man, do the fan splitter and stuff come with the packages???
Excellent tutorial! And currently making a build exactly like this. My question is now that there is Windows 11 that you can upgrade to for free, should I upgrade a fresh copy of Windows 10 directly to Windows 11 first or update Windows 10 completely and then update the windows 11?
What long screw you used for fixing reverse Fans for GPUS
Where do you ding the long screwss
thank you for the tutorial! so from this, will it be fine if I update the bios using the flash bios button prior to building everything, and will it also be fine if I build everything first and then update the bios?
Either should work, I prefer not to flash the bios unless I need to. Rather have the monitor display to look at
@@ChristopherFlannigan ah I see, thank you so much, and keep up the great work!
So where do I plug the 4 pin pwm connector to in the Mb ?
great video nd i feel a lit bit more confident to build my first pc...tho i've a question can this case accomodate arctic freezer 280 at top ?? cuz it got a slight thick radiator(38mm) nd wd fans it can reach 65mm so m kinda worried if this case will fit it or not wud be a great help if u can clarify it thankzzz
great video nd cleared a lot of doubts regarding case, just one question do u think this case can accommodate arctic freezer II 280mm at top given its slightly thicker radiator(38 mm nd 65mm with fans) than galahad(52mm with fans) do u think it has enough space uptop without interfering with mb components or ram.
Hey, amazing video. What do I have to do if my pc won't show bios do to the updated firmware? The point you talk about on minute 38. Thanks!
wait, im confused. i have the same case but my mobo doesnt connect to the case rgb, it wont sync. i have the ROG Strix B550 Mobo. can anyone help?
So wait, was it the case fans that were loud or the AIO fans that you “fixed”?
Just want to point out that you installed a NVME from a brand that is not on the motherboard manufacturer's QVL: www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK#support-hdd
While the drives are supposed to just work due to the form factor, there's no guarantee that you won't run into a problem with Power / Sleep, or possibly something worse.
I bought the DF600 flux but it seems that I’m missing a lot of items. Do l need these items
Isn't there a sticker on the motherboard that says what bios it has?
