Wonderful to see this. There is so much practical wisdom in Islam, that isn't often discussed in European and American countries, outside of Muslim communities (using the term American to refer to all of the Americas - North, South and the US.) Thank you @Suzanmayadewi.
I am a moslem, but anyhow iam interested in how budhist monks life, sometimes i think want to live among of budhist monks in budhist temple because i feel that their way of living is so peaceful
@@slimturnpike The distinction exists in English, used for mostly Catholic monastic traditions. In Buddhism however the same terms are used for 'priests', monks, nuns, in most Buddhist traditions. So for example a Zen, Tendai, or Pure Land monk can be male or female, though the use of the term nun is also fine of course.
Hm, what’s the word in Korean? All Asian languages have words to differentiate male and female clergy, so I suspect calling her a “monk” is just a sign that the translator’s first language isn’t English.
I don't know why but what she says from 2:04-onward just hits something in my soul that just made me teary-eyed.
