    Hey, do I need a reference to get into the hospital or just apply by my own.

    • @rachellenursing
      @rachellenursing  6 месяцев назад

      You can definitely apply on your own! They usually just require 6months to 1 yr direct patient care experience and/or a cna license

    Do you have to be in nursing school to do cna?

      Hi there! No you do not. There are some options from what I am aware of. Some hospitals do novice PCA where they will train you with no experience. You can also do CNA school and it’s fast track. Or after first year of nursing school semester then you can work as a tech! :)

    So it’s not scary? What makes people say it’s scary?

    • @Yana94124

      Yes it is scary..especially Medsurg...some nurses won't care if you're new or inexperienced. They will drag you down until you quit instead of teaching you the right way.

      @@Yana94124 Is it harder than long term skilled memory care? I've been doing that for 5 years but I'm moving and looking to explore. My patient ratio has always been around 1:20. How many do you see on a given day in medsurge
