I believe that the turning point in the Western Allies fight against Germany was actually El Alamein. From there, the British completely rolled over Rommel's remmants and it setup Operation Torch. Then it was just a domino effect, from Husky to Overlord. Battle of the Bulge sealed the deal for Germany.

Jeeps in COH have a sight range well beyond the sight range of enemy units, you can use them to scout or spot fire without them coming under fire. Triage centers can only be built near the headquarters, and should be placed at the same spot where retreating units come to a stop.

The Battle of Britan and the failed invasion of Britan left a staging platform for the eventually recapture of Western Europe. It is hard to imagine the Allies recapturing France or even invading Italy if Britian was knocked out of the war.
Using the 3 nebelwerfer against the enemy really helps me with this mission.Oh and i snipe all Nebelwerfer crew with only a sniperXd

o7 - My personal choice for pivotal turning point: Operation Compass, when the Brits kicked the Italians back from the Egyptian border to the other end of Libya. It meant the Germans sent one of their best generals (Rommel) south, along with two armoured divisions and several mechanised ones, just before Barbarrossa.
Those troops and especially Rommel (who was known to disobey dumb orders) might have been enough to break the Soviets. If they fell, who knows if the western Allies could have launched a successful invasion.
Id say the battle of Stalingrad was the turning point in the war, western allied operations added pressure to the axis in my opinion
D day was definitely the pivot point. It gave us a foot in occupied Europe. From there our march to victory began.

Raptor, I have a question/request. I've seen here and there mass Russian charges on MOWAS2 and things of that nature, and idk why but I like to see them. But I am curious what that would look like on this game. Is that something you could possibly do one day maybe towards the end of a Russian mission is get a lot of infantry and make them charge the enemy at the end? I don't know how this game works but if that's something you could maybe do that would be cool! Thanks! :) Love your vids man! Keep up the great work! :)

The defeat at the battle of Britain stopped Hitler invading the UK (which I personally think would not have been difficult for the Wehrmacht), therefore the western Allies wouldn't have had a foothold in Europe from which to launch an invasion of Nazi occupied territory. Hitler would probably have more troops for the East, as he wouldnt have a second front to worry about. And if the Soviets still won the war, what would have been Britain's fate? A single Nazi outpost in a communist dominated Europe? Or the latest addition to Stalin's empire...
Germany was already at war on two fronts ? from the east and from Italy
Well after D-Day it was four, the Americans landed in southern France (op Dragoon) Normandy (overlord) and,as you point out, Italy and Op gangfuck in the east. But if Germany invaded UK remember North Africa and Italy would not have been battlefields, it would have only been the Russian front, no foothold for Allied forces to invade Nazi occupied Europe in the west, therefore the battle of Britain was the most important victory in WW2.

I just used the 3 Nebelwerfers to destroy the Axis HQ, and the mission was accomplished right away without necessarily capturing all the points.

damnit the tutorial didn't cover base constriction very well so i did this with unupgraded infantry thinking i could only use barracks.
Turning point that changed the second world war entirely was Hitler deciding to fight on 2 fronts in europe, had he not done that he would've easily defeated the British and the American forces and then regrouped to finish off the Soviets

definitely the battle of the buldge when the Germans lost their tank divisions it was game over no stopping the allies from pushing into Germany.
if the battle of bulge succeeded, Germany would have then pushed for a truce. They knew they'd lost the war but if they had broken the allied line at the ardennes, they could have negotiated an end to war from a position of strength. It was their last ditch attempt to end the war before the Russians started ripping their country apart.
There is an easy way to destroy the german HQ and end the mission quick

Technically we were already in it we were supplying guns ammo and some soldiers they had a convert over to Britain
I disagree on that one thing to send supplies but to send armed forces on a degree as u did when you entered changed the war, Who's to say what would of happen if you did't enter

It's not worth it to upgrade Rangers with smgs when there is German panzerschecks around, 2 bazookas plus 2 panzerschecks = rangers having a rate of 12 at attack points. Raptor never upgrade Rangers and Airborne when there is German equipment around.
