Very professional! You guys make it look easy.
I would love that set up on my 2015.. the wheels look so good!
People don't understand unless your doing some serious off-roading or overlanding you don't need Fox, Kings or Icons. Bilsteins are more than enough for every day and weekend warriors. But I get it majority go for looks and show most of the time.
I agree. 😊
Nice set up! Love how it turned out.
Great video guys thanks 👌🏽 keep up the great work you do..
Thanks John! Appreciate the feedback.
Great video and very informative. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
Looks good. I own a 2011 and did a similar set up. I used a -6 wheel instead and gives it a mean stance. Some trimming was needed. Awesome video 👍🏽
This is what I'm wanting to do to my 19' I'll also be adding skid plates and bumpers. How do you account for the extra weight? What is your turn around time? Do you also do re-gearing?
These guys have their hands on so many 4Runners I wanna make a trip to get some work done. Here in New Mexico. Wonder if anyone can recommend a place?
I watched probably sixty 88 rotor videos before doing this same setup with UCA'S on my 2015 Limited 4runner. Excellent setup for the money.
How much did they charge back then?
@@hernanromero25 I bought the parts and installed them on my own. 88 rotors is like 4000 miles from me haha.
Did you do a body mount chop? If not, do you have any rubbing issues?
@@pacificrim1667 if you're talking to me, No I didn't do a body mount chop. I'm still running 265/70/17 tires so rubbing is minimal to none.
@@strawberrymochiiz which ome spring did you use in front and back?
Perfect setup
I want to get this lift for my Tacoma!
Any chance you guys would install an aftermarket front bumper?
I have a Body Armor 4x4 TC-19339 Hiline Stubby that needs to go on.
Maybe I can get the lift and bumper at the same time?
Hola amigos hacen un trabajo maravilloso no me lo pierdo sigan adelante desde peru'
Do you have any experience with eibach? They make a kit for the gx470 and it's around $800. Including rear spring conversion
Do you guys recommend doing a diff drop to align the front half shafts?
Please subscribe for more daily videos! FOR TROLL THAT’S GHOSTED, I CAN’T SEEM TO UNGHOST YOU BUT YOUR’RE OUT OF YOUR MIND IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO THIS SETUP WITH WHEELS AND TIRES AND UCA FOR $1500 YOURSELF.
88ROTORS what would the bilstein/OME setup cost to install on ‘19 4Runner?
What OME springs would you recommend for 3/2 lift with 150lbs additional front weight?
Sir what size the tire
Are there ever issues with the speedometer not being accurate after adding larger tires?
Do you need a body mount chop for this set up? What was being grinded towards the end ?
Will the stock 2010 Trail wheels have the same results? Does it matter if I have or do not have the KDSS system? I’d like a little more aggressive stance. Can I use spacers for my wheels. I actually really like them a lot. Thanks!
Hey guys. What tire do you recommend for good baja style offroading and low highway noise?
Would this set up able to handle if to consider adding greater or equal to 200lbs of body armor?
You guys are AMAZING‼️ I live in Saint Louis Missouri and we are starving for a shop like yours out here!!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
I noticed on the gray sr5 with the emu springs and Bilstein 5100's all the way around you stated that the front had 3" emu springs with the shocks set at the "0" setting. Which setting is that the first notch? I was gong to install some 3" Dobinson springs (C59-314) on the front with 2" Bilstein springs on the rear with 5100 shocks on the front and the back (similar to your install). I just didn't know which setting to use with that large of a spring on the 5100's on the front. So, if I understand you correctly, you left the 5100 clip on the lowest setting with the 3" emu springs? Is that correct? Also could you explain why you choose that particular set up for the front, advantages and disadvantages (ride quality, handling performance etc)? Many many thanks in advance. Charles
Which specific OME coils are you using front and rear?? I could not find in the comments 🤷🏻♂️
Have you guys ever experienced having the ABS and Traction control warning lights turn on after installing a lift? If so is it common and how is it fixed? Thanks. BTW, awesome videos. Been watching your installs for some time now, too bad I live in Vegas, otherwise I would’ve gone to you guys for my 4runner.
We have a ton of customers from Vegas and farther. Never any issues if done at the recommended and proper height. If issues arise, try a zero point calibration. Good luck!
Did you need to add extended break lines with a 3inch lift?
With the newer 4runners with the safety camera sensors, do i need to take it to toyota dealers to recalibrate?
That's a professional shop right there
Will this setup work on a 2020 TRD Off Road with KDSS?
No sway bar relocation kit needed?
I have a stupid question, if you are using the original coil spring in the front, how are you getting the height to change? is the new shock that much longer? is this what you would call a lift kit? I am asking because I have no idea how to do this, and I would like to do the same to mine,
Do you recommend toytec?
Is the SPC Upper Control arm part# 25480?
Would anyone mind going over everything I need to get this kit?
Hi Hello
If I just want the looks? I don’t need to buy the TRO PRO ? & just buy SR5 just like that and just install long travel kit? King suspension?
I have a MGM 4R and about to lift it this weekend. Nice to see what is potentially going to look like after the lift
What size did you do your tires at?
Mine are still the stock 265 70 17 @@efraingonzalez6842 they were new when i bought my truck so i just left them. Will go to 285 at some point
Need to really turn the music down so we can hear you but other than that, good informative video!
Didn’t realize it was that loud, our apologies and thank you for viewing!
Zice 2525 it’s not loud.Just another narcissist cry baby.Ignore these people you’ll never make them happy
I don’t see any problem with the music volume at all
I a really liked the music 🤷🏼♂️ Can’t please everyone 😘
Wow, tough crowd! The music is repetitive and gives me a headache. I could also swear I can hear "hey Toyota" in the music....subliminal programming maybe? How about a little Free Bird, or Stairway to Heaven? Would be better, but you might get shut down I guess.
Could it be done only to the front? At 2 inches?
How much for this build on my 5th Gen 2018 TRD OR?
Hola amigos. Me gusta la manera como lo hacen el trabajo
Hasta pronto desde peru'
What OME springs are those ? Do you have the spring number!
Is this setup good for a good amount of off-roading and daily driving?
What do you guys think about Dobinson springs?
When you say “medium OME lift springs” what exactly are they? Because if I google medium OME lift springs it doesn’t come up and I’m trying to tell my local shop exactly what I want. They got me to buy some rough country stuff and after reading reviews they seem like garbage.
That came out dope
Can you do a 06 4Runner?
Could i do this set up on a 2011 4runner limited? I want to get rid if the XREAS suspension
Lissy Guevara Yes you can
What are the front and rear spring rate?
Do you have any links for the shocks and springs used?
Well someone watches goonzsquad channel using their go to music ✌🏻
Is this available for a 2002 4Runner 2wd?
Suring the very last part of the installation you showed somebody cutting something inside the wheel well. What was that and why? I've heard that depending on the size of the tires that you use you need to do some cutting but what did ya'll cut there?
That was a tacoma.. the tacoma seen on the video earlier. Tacomas have emblems on the doors.
what number ome coils are the ones you guys put in the first mgm 4runner
Alright very well said
whats the part number on the ome springs?
Didn't have to drop the front diff a bit? Don't want the stress of the CVs
Will this set up fit 285s without doing any cutting?
Pretty funny this came through on my feed and I live down the street from y’all
my 4runner's level/lift 3" front and 2" Rough Country spacer kit was only $219.00 total + free shipping. Labor cost for installation was only $400 for 4 hours of $100 per hour labor.
@@5ohJ we are talking about "least expensive" suspension lift/leveling kit in this video. Read the fucking title of this vid. "Cheapest (Least Expensive)".
@@7150285 It says nothing about a leveling kit...suspension lift will always be more expensive than just a spacer lift
@@Serjical23 technically spacers ARE suspension lift as well. I know it's not new springs/strut/shock absorber combo but it's still a suspension lift. Body lift is different though.
i have 2004 toyota 4runner how much it cost me to do complete job like video ? please let me know
What about regearing?
What about just installing the ome 3” lift kit? Why use ome & bilstein?
Are these 1.5 inch rear springs?
You have idea when
Put it one 88 Rotors
Denver co
I like yours video and the job
Of 88 Rotors
Thank you!
Damn, that's sweet!
which ome spring did you use in front and back?
Following for an answer too
How much is this set up with the spc uca ?
What is the ome coil # for the front and back?
What if I have KDSS ? Do you install spacers. Thanks
Was there any rubbing with those size tires ? Thanks
I’m getting the exact set up put on my 4Runner here in Arizona soon. I wasn’t sure if this was the way to go but now seeing this I’m confident in my decision. Thank you for making this video.
How do you like them??
So, did you get the kit? How is it?
@@YU33i It tightens the ride up. To me it made the ride much better.
@@shawnskiramone1862 Yes I got it. It made the ride much better and I put bigger tires on. The 285/70/17. Held the road much better. Stock suspension it felt like it didn’t hold the road good. It made me like the 4runner even more with the different suspension.
@@andrewdejulio That’s awesome to hear. I’m still deciding on my lift kit. Looking to get at least 3.5” full suspension but not sure yet what brand(s), and I’m new at lifts. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it cost you just to complete your lift without the tire upgrade?
do you guys offer a fully assembled setup like this for the 2018 4runner...with kdss and whatever spacer is needed to fix the lean? front and rear already setup for i guess a 2.5-3" lift?
We sure do. That is exactly what we do.
How much was this setup exactly at the time??
Can these tires and rims (285/7017) fit a 4runner 2018 limited? I don't want to lift the car.
not without rubbing
I have a 2018 toyota 4runner with a factory 3 inch lift and the steering wheel shakes at 60 mph... whats the fix
Make sure you go to a shop that performs a "road force balance". Many 4Runners have your issue after changing tires and a traditional balance does not solve the issue.
The video shows and states BFG K02, but description says falken wildpeak. May want to edit that
I just noticed that too
Same with the wheels.
I really like these wheels. I have a silver 5th gen and am having a hard time deciding on wheels. Wish they offered these with a negative offset.
These Icons are nice, but personally I would never buy any wheel with their name engraved on the wheel, the center cap is ok because I can change that, but not the wheel.
I believe they do have with negative offset now.
@@pacificrim1667 man.. if they do.. I'm gonna be pissed. I actually put these wheels on mine about 2 months ago and am adding 1.25" wheel spacers to get them to around a -32 offset.
What OME springs did you use?
It will be more inviting to come if u explained D breakdown of all high end to low end lifts kit..
Is there any shop or place like this located in wi?
Is that a 2wd or 4wd? I’m wondering if I can do that same set up on a 2wd? Or are they completely different?
I'm pretty sure this set up would work on a 2wd but my opinion I would save the money and just do a spacer lift. Most aftermarket coilovers have stiffer springs witch isent bad on 4wd due to them being heavier but on 2wd you may not like the ride quality.
What is the technician grinding on at 8:23 under the passenger rear wheel well?
probably because of some wheel rub
So how much was all of that total cost?
Icon Rebound Wheels. NOT Fuel Anza
Love those 4runners
What ring level and OME 884 or 885 for front? 895, 895E or 889 for the rear? Mahalo
Yo! Did you figure this out? Thanks!
What size tire are you running on these icon wheels? Also 17" or 18" wheels?
it's in the video... 17s on 285 70s
Great work, do customers usually buy a 5th, tire Rim as a spare. If so will the bigger tire rim fit underneath of the 4runner. Thanks
If you went with a 285/70/17 as in this video, it will fit. You can verify by googling "t4r 285 spare fit" and read some relevant forum posts. Hope that helps.
I did get 5th tire and wheel, but, 88 ROTORS would not fit it underneath. So, I ended up getting a spare tire carrier.
Question, if I were to set up an appt. how much would it be to do this exact setup on my 2017 sr5 4runner? I'm stock suspension right now with trd pro wheels and 275/70/17 bfg all terrain tires! Let me know!! You guys are about an hour and 30 minutes from me, thanks so much!
Hi did u end up liking the Bfg?? I’m debating on what tires I want
You got 275s on a stock 4Runner? Any problems?
Don’t be cheap, get those control arms.
88 Rotors that bgm is loud af lmao
You say this lifts 3"F/2"R, does this need a diff drop to keep the CVs happy long term?
Definitely! For 3” I’d do a diff drop.
For most people - with exception of hard-core off-roaders (and the owner of this truck is obviously not going to do any serious off-roading simply because it's an SR5, not Off-Road edition) - this is overkill. I installed a 2.5" spacers for under $100. Technically, it is recommended to replace upper control arms to be able to set caster to specs but I have not experienced ANY adverse effects of having too much caster - no handling abnormalities or abnormal tire wear on any of my 2004 (230,000 mi) and 2018 (16,000 mi) 4Runners.
Spacers won't help with the atrocious nose dive when braking or pirate ship-like handling. There are on road benefits to better shocks and springs. And SR5 runners are still extremely capable off-road
LOL. He's not doing any offroading with 2WD truck. SR5s are plenty capable.
@@static603 SR5 is reasonably capable. But not like Offroad with rear locker and A-TRAC. And I most definitely wouldn't do uniball UCA. They wear out in an instant. I just installed JBA'a.
What did you have to cut?
No body mount chop?
price for setup?
Which model of Old Man Emu springs are you using for the fronts and rears? Thanks
885 and 895E’s on this one.
Et0 17 8.5j? 265 70 17? Thanks
Is there no front diff drop kit with this? Kind of important if you off road a lot.
I take that back... If you even go with long travel shocks/struts. Unless you can achieve more than 21.5degrees on the driveline, you don't need one. And by lowering the diff by one inch, you lose 1 inch of clearance and most under belly protection won't fit.
What height was this one at?
I have the same car still don’t know any add on plz help
Is this possible on a Mercedes Benz ml350 or gle ?
Michael Anyim this is for a 5th gen 4runner
I just put a set of those Icon wheels on my dark gray Jeep...
Sweet, post a video so we can see!
Yeah Post It
