Now Brits just know what it's like to be an outsider with limited 90 day visiting rights like us Americans.
Brexit means brexit. Luv me cuntry, luv me pies, 8 forriners. But US Pippa got the idea but failed in the details. The EU was very much seen as a foreign governing body trying to thr itself into a united States of Europe. Not something the majority of the British people wanted to see. David Cameron was the prime minister when the vote was put forward, it was seen a a political power play to throw Nigel Farrage into politic turmoil, but little did he know he was the one out of touch. Cameron Stepped down and was later replaced by Theresa May and then Boris Johnson. Maggy Thatcher was also hated by thr north, she was the prime minister in the 1980s. The votes were very much split between north and south, the north very much felt like they were being left out in the cold in favour of a foreign population being installed into their towns and cities while they were losing jobs and unable to afford basic needs. It's one of the most distinct differences in the general public seen in recent years the voting graphs are quite fascinating to see.

Fair play to Pipkin Pippa she was actually pretty close and just got the details mixed up which is understandable giving how much was going on at the time. 2013: 1980's era Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher passed away. The South of the country mourned her, the North celebrated and partied (she was very controversial in the United Kingdom. Loved by the South, despised by the North!) Press F or S depending on where in the UK you live and what sort of "class" you are in... 2014: Scotland had their referendum and voted in favour of remaining a part of the United Kingdom. A major part of Scotland remaining was the worry that if they left, they would be immediately out of both the United Kingdom and the European Union and would then have to negotiate with both the European Union and the remainder of the United Kingdom. Little did they (or Westminster) know... They were in for a massive surprise two years later... 2016: The United Kingdom had their referendum and voted in favour of leaving the European Union. Following the then Prime Minister David Cameron's almost immediate resignation, Theresa May was then picked and won an election to become Prime Minister. (also in 2016, Donald J Trump becomes President of the United States of America. Many memes were had and many tears were shed between these two major events). 2020: After many years of political ring-around-the-rosies, the United Kingdom officially left the European Union under Prime Minister Boris Johnson who took over from Theresa May. At this point most people on both Remain and Brexit were expecting the government to quietly delay independance endlessely before phasing it out completely. Boris Johnson's government shocked a lot of people by actually delivering on independance.
The conservative and labour uniparty never delivered on brexit, by refusing to separate us from EU legislation nor their institutions. We are still subject to their policies and the ones set up to abide by them have not been removed, instead the uniparty slaved us to even more extreme regulations and enhanced these so called 'protections', while also still having an open border. It was a brexit in name only and nothing else and the traitors in whitehall and the houses of parliament are more than happy to sell out their countrymen to foreign investors who shower them in money and cushy EU jobs after they have served. Its why voter turnout dipped to an all time low at the most recent elections and why Reform is picking up so much steam, because its become clear to everyone that both labour and the conservative party are BOTH controlled oppositions who at a fundamental agree on the horrendous goals set out by the WEF and their fellow friends at Davos, just that they dont agree on the speed to achieve said goals.

In fairness to Pippa, the UK burned through a _lot_ of PMs during the Brexit phase so it was probably hard to keep track of anyway
Yes but Thatcher was Prime Minister during the 80's, Brexit was 2016-2020.
@@Decamix300 exactly the 80s i thought i was going insane too
Not wrong, they went through about 4 or 5.
It's akin to the average American to not know any president after Reagan. And they were born post-2000...
Tbh, though not as jumbled as Yabbit's recollection, didn't know too much about Brexit either, if you're interested there's a guy, collie fields, in the comments who made a chronology of events, honestly it's both interesting and funny how it played out.
Gamergate and Brexit - two more things to blame on Thatcherite Britain! XD
(Brexit was a Cameron thing, as I recall. Which he palmed off.)
Cameron fought against Brexit. He only promised to have a referendum to get UKIP voters to support him.
One thing you can say about Thatcher over current politicians: she was at least open about her abuse of miners.
This is seriously wholesome watching Pippa have so much fun
When you learn history from memes... 🤣
Put this in the history books
I want these 2 to collab more!
Fishman needs to get the blue Pippa into Phase Connect
So do I sadly Pebbelsworth GWord is in a few hours. Just over a year of Yapping wasn't enough. As a Capippi and Pipster I wish Fishman could buy her character if Pebblesworth wanted to go to Phase. Glad Pippa^2 - Pippa x Pippa happened. Globie to their credit are leaving up her VODs
I'm gonna miss Pippablu
from now on, that's my name for her
Pippa's (US) Achilles heel has been British politics all this time??? 😂
Give someone who will listen to Pippa's (pink) corkboard conspiracy and she'll take a mile. XD
Gamergate was like 2013 or 14
Late 2014
@malcolm_in_the_middle wtf, there's no way it's been more than 10 years I feel old
Lmao
The earliest recorded use of the word "tory" was to describe bandits and thieves. Isn't it nice to find a word whose meaning hasn't changed?
I thought it was nice that the Horrible Histories book series taught us this. Well, back in the day when people read books.
Pippa is more breedable than Pippa
so true, so true king
Yes
Patrician tastes as always.
Why not breed both? No need to make it a competition.
>asking Pippa about being on a date
does she really...?
Pippas best political knowledge outside of the US.
@12:42 12 years is 144 months. 144/9=16. Sixteen pregnancies.
Nice.
Nice use of the zozo music. A nice nod to the fact that they are just casually lying to eachother.
For visitors outside of Europe, Schengen zone sucks, because you used to be able to stay in each country up to the country's individual limit. So if you were an American, you could hop from country to country and never be forced to leave the continent. Now Brits just know what it's like to be an outsider with limited 90 day visiting rights like us Americans.
True but you had to deal with each countries border controls as well. Though I guess if you're really just visiting that's not a problem at all.
why go to europe?
Love how it managed to evolve in to how many babies one can have in 12 years and Boris's johnson. Was a great collab. 😄
Pippa "Revisionist Historian" Pipkin
Ah... Yes! Finally! This is what happen when British Pippa meet America Pippa!
Pippa played herself xD
Bish got Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May confused lmao
Are these "Margaret Thatchers" in the room with us right now?
She's in the walls.
This is getting out of hand, now there is two of them
Yeah, Pippa's politics makes perfect sense now.
Dude. I just got a BBC news notification about brexit just now.
They've been seething for nearly a decade because the people told them to f off.
As an American, this sounds like a very accurate description of Brexit. I'll teach this to my kids exactly this way.
Why is the zozo theme so perfect for this?! 😅
Zozo fits everything

Rip bluey
Real shame, she was adorable.
Too complicated. Let me simplify.
theory : brexit happened
practice : the powers that be don't like it, so they keep doing as if it hadn't. The cancer keeps growing and killing the UK.
It’s almost as if the eU was never the problem, British people were
@@SPTX. Sure mate, the problem is that brexit wasn't "done right". Just like communism was never "done right" and would be amazing otherwise.
It's amazing how much people strain their brains in order to not admit that something was a stupid idea …
@moe.m If I try to say ANYTHING meaningful, ytb censrs me. (no typo in this post, only trying to circumvent the snsrshp)
But oh man do I have a long winded response to prove you wrong and stupid.
my brother in christ you made the rules
Average american's knowledge about the rest of the world:
But why the picture of Mike Meyers?
Why not ?
cause it’s groovy
That's Margaret Thatcher.
His history sounds so much more entertaining than the actual history of all those events 😂
The pikatch :O edit was so perfect 👌
Abraham Lincoln? 1860s Abraham Lincoln? I feel like Pippa missing Margaret Thatcher in the timeline by less than 5 years is a bit different than Abraham Lincoln, some 150+ years off.
I think Reagan would have been a more apt comparison, no?
(Laughs in Northern Ireland Irish Passport Holder)
I've never quite understood this because you're pretty much allowed to go anywhere with a British password still. (Just limited in living and working abroad.)
@@markedfang The living and working abroad is the main thing for this.
I don't know if pink pippa was trolling or just rambling, because she was trolling throughout the whole stream
No sadly, she admits she doesn't know much about other countries... To her credit she tries to learn, granted it is by colabs like this or Brazil with Abi Kadabura (o7) .
The only history americans know less about than international history is US national history! Ask US Vtubers about the US civil war...
Who was it? I think Lumi, or maybe Lia did some shitty political test and misread Civil War as "War" that gave me a brain Aneurysm at the time. It really seems like these girls are unronically left behind for a reason. Although they are entertaining, so... yeah.
11:02 - it's what the Irish called their Norman lords, meaning thief.
I like how we know exactly where you stand from your use of "independence".
@@Arbitertaco If anyone launches pejoratives at you over the WEF/Davos remind them that Georgey and Klaus stream on RUclips under the "World Government Summit" channel. When people call me a conspiracy theorist I just have to cringe at this point because the malicious people are so open about it that they have their own RUclips channels now. Donald Trump _just_ broadcasted to them where they told him he'd fall in line or face consequences while he laughed them out of their stadium
