Voyager being a Quick Servant makes sense because he's travelling through space of Stars where alas as a Quick Servant he is able to create a lot of stars in gameplay.
I want him on my team for what he represents. Humanity has many failings and yet as Pioneers we dare take the Opportunity to reach out into the cosmos even if we ourselves can't make the Voyage. We built these machines and gave them names representing our better traits.
Voyager may have been my most anticipated ssr of the year, but not for his kit, nor because he is the voyager space probe, but specifically for his 2nd ascension. Voyagers 2nd ascension is based on the novel "The little prince", and they could not have chosen a better charcter for it. The novel is truly one of the most beautiful stories ive ever read, and i would encourage anybody to give it a read, believe me, it will make you appreciate Voyager even more

It seems wrong to say that his damage is bad and that he's an excellent looper, since if you lack the damage, he's not actually looping. But that's fine, because just... don't loop with him? Having access to a 50% NP charge means he can do many things. You can use him to clean out wave 1 for cheap (17 cost vs. say, Helena being 24) while offering the 20% party battery. You can also run him with a BG by only doing two waves with him, and leaving one if them to someone else, which helps with the damage output nicely.
Looking up at the starry sky should have been his true bond ce Even though it probably doesn’t follow the logic and meaning of bond ces Even better he could have had the Caudron Simoun touring monoplane (the red plane in starry sky, which is also the aircraft used in the little prince)
With Voyager, I feel that he is overlooked much by other servants in the quick meta like Dante and Parvati. It doesn't help much that he was released so soon to Castoria and the shift to an Arts looping meta after. Will I roll for Voyager? Not really, but my god is his character so cute!

I have np2 Dantes and rolled voyager strictly for his second ascension art, i have no regrets Also nabbed one dino waifu, and off rate ups Rama and Napoleon all within 17 tickets and 150 sq so I guess I’ll be consulting different guides and staying in farming hell over continuing Olympus when the event’s over…

Came back to this video after seeing his new strengthening quest. Definitely drastically improves his flexibility and power. Whether if it’s for himself or other quick servants. I would say this puts him in the A+ tier now!
Got both him and Dino mama in one - insanely lucky - multi. I'm not very interested in him (only rolled for Koyo), but a limited SSR is still a limited SSR.
He came home to me on ONE TICKET when he was new on JP and came home on my 2nd pull on EN and I am still so happy cause I love his design his voice everything about him!!

60 SQ, NP2 Voyager. Well, as someone who has Skadi, but not Dantes, I believe the next course of action is clear. Too bad the Quick meta is about to be pushed down a cliff, but it's not like I'll stop using a third of my roster either. Plus, I grew up with Le Petit Prince, can't pass up on that!
Ironically i feel like him and kama would synergize well. his single target quick down and targeted star gather buff means he enables Kama to do the two things she does best - murk things insanely hard with her crits and quick NP. He could easily clear the mook waves before a boss before bringing in Kama to do Big Big Damage. And it's cute bc Kama is grumpy star older sister to Voyager's good hearted star little brother haha

I really like his concept that a space probe can be a servant, but I'm not sure if I should roll for him at the moment, because I need my Quartz for Castoria and the new line of summer servants. Let's see, still have 10 days to decide.
First multi was double voyager Got him np3 with 90 sq and got 2 Dino waifus and 5 rp from sr I had np5 already along with 15 4 star ces. 2 5 star ce and 6 3 star ces. Got other 5 star ces I didn't need like 11 Victor to the moon and now have 3 mlb prismas
He's a cool little guy. If I manage to get him out of a GSSR or something then I'll be happy with that. But I just don't love him so much that I'll pull for him here. A bit too close to Castoria and honestly I've got bigger targets for next year.
Voyager broke my dry streak in this game (first new 5-star from the gacha since Shuten in the Oniland rerun, *seven months ago*), so I was going to use him a lot anyway. Plus, he's a Foreigner, and I swear by the anti-Berserker class. Still, it's great that he has so many nice tools to make him good at farming.
Got him in a few multi rolls at the beginning of the event and oh boi was i happy about that, i am so tired of parv NP, and woosh just a few moments ago thanks to my besto dinosaur aka Cu Alter getting to bond 11 i got a multi and boom, NP2 besto boy, that added damage on his NP just made him waaaaaaay more viable aaaaaaaa
Np1 voyager is D tier at best, however if you NP 3 voyager, he becomes A+ easily. The difference in his NP damage is that massive especially if we are to consider him as a quick servant that is heavily reliant on his np.
I can attest to that. I have him at NP4 level 80 and he is a little monster and fantastic for farming. Also his design and lore is some of my favorite in the game. Would have raised him even without disgustingly good gacha luck
I was debating pulling him since Castoria is so close but said fuck it since I love him way too much and I wanted Dino mama also so I pulled and was able to at least get one of him and 3 dino mama with 180 quarts it's a lot but im really happy since I finally have this beautiful boy. Now hopefully the 950+ Quartz I have left is enough for Castoria.
Voyager is pretty much an NP interlude short of being an extremely well-rounded servant, likely his own event rerun will provide it which will certainly fix up his most glaring issue (that being poor damage) in general. I do hope that happens, but if nothing else he's not just exclusively farming thanks to his small but relevant utilities (CQ or otherwise).
I got him while I was just tossing a couple 10 rolls at the event banner to get some CEs to make farming easier. My reaction was something along the lines of "Well, he's a 5*, so I gotta level him I guess." I'm sure he'll come in handy if I'm doing some farming and just wanna turn my brain off for a bit.
I'm not seeing how Castoria's release is supposed to make him less efficient - it's not like his numbers become worse all of a sudden. Sure, I never really used him, but that's mostly because I have Dantes, so it all comes down to his power relative to the other options.
Well it's more-so that the game design changes because of Castoria. Kinda like how once Merlin was released they introduced break bars because Merlin broke the game lol. When Castoria releases all the events change from 3-3-3 waves to uneven waves (like 1-2-3, 2-12-, 3-1-1 etc...) and quick servants need 3-3-3 to loop efficiently. Also enemy HP increases a bit to make the waves harder to 3 turn. So he'll still be able to loop but instead of just needing double skadi you'll need battlesuit and Waver or a Kscope too for most events.
@@GAReviews Good points, though to be honest, the unique nodes are pretty bothersome to farm with Castoria, too. Heck, I tend to do them with Skadi more often than not simply because Douman is so ridiculous. ...Which is basically why the current JP meta is basically "Take 3 damage dealers who can also support each other". Don't have to loop when every servant only uses their NP once!

THIS JUST HURTS MY SOUL A LOT MORE, DUUUDE! 😭 Sorry, but I need to vent _again!_ I failed to get him last Friday, when the Event started, with my measly 18 Tickets and around 148 SQs. And the cruelest irony is, I can't even say it was a bad roll, because I got two copies of Koyo, plenty of the Event's CEs and even got spooked by Anastasia _AND_ Atalanta Alter *on the same damn 11 Summon!* But regardless of that... I WASN'T ABLE TO GET A SINGLE COPY OF VOYAGER! Which sucks, since I love reuniting characters together, and now Erice won't be able to see her Servant and best friend?! Also, apperantly the Requiem collab *still* hasn't received a Rerun in JP as of yet, so there's not even the assurance that I could just try for him again in two years time! (at least not yet, but it doesn't help my anxiety) AAARGH! _Sorry about that._ Anyway, I'mma try to get as much SQs from this Event as possible to try again! Screw saving for Kama on the Ooku Rerun, Voyager is now my favourite star-themed Servant!

Got him on First 10 roll (no Dino waifu tho) and given that my skadi was taking dust outside of team given i lacked a Quick aoe servant (i Only have Summer scatcha), he Is welcomed
I gave in and threw in 450 sq for him. Luckily got him np2 with Dino lady np3. I’m probably gonna grail him since I love his animations and he’s just really cute and fun.

It seems strange to me that people say that quick meta is gonna be disappearing when Castoria comes out like it's going to be less effective the second she does, when in reality it's just people changing their preferences. Buster teams to this day are still effective after all
Unless NA gets the support list update early (really, REALLY hope we do), it will likely be far more difficult for most players to consistently find Skadi on support, which will hamper Quick as it basically requires 2xSkadi to function properly.

But for farming purposes she is by no mean the only option, just a popular new toy for people to fawn their favorite arts servants with. @@darcwizrd Okay, but that still doesn't change the fact that, for the vast majority of players, Skadi is going to near completely disappear from support lists (again, unless NA gets the support list update early here). I have nothing against Quick. I whaled for NP5 Voyager (he's my only NP5 SSR, the closest 2nd being Vlad at NP4 only because he's permanent and I've been around since shortly after the 1st NeroFest), but unless we get one crucial update very early 2xSkadi based teams are going to be far harder to field simply because significantly fewer Caster slots will have a Skadi in them for the foreseeable future.
@@rediceeee "Meta" is a term used in competitive gaming communities to mean that literal best options that give you the beat chance of victory over an opponent. Now the biggest component, imo at least, is that there needs to be a competitive component between players for a meta to form. Players are what develop the meta as it changes based on player discoveries of how mechanics work and developing of skill, along the release of new "content" (cards, characters, etc). Now the thing about FGO is that there can be player skill, there can be player discoveries and understanding of mechanics, BUT you do not need that to handle most content in the game. Most of the time you just need to know who is what class and have good enough numbers to hit them before you die. There is no competition between players. There is community and we help each other through content, but it's almost always possible to just braindead your way through content. FGO is made in such a way that you do not need to think extraordinarily hard about pushing through content, servants even regularly come as solutions to anything that was previously on the harder end. For a famous example, Camelot Gawain is a hard boss to beat with most party comps unless you have Euryale or any one who has a strong bonus trait damage against male or really any of his traits. That is a solved problem. A more recent example is Demeter, probably the actual hardest fight in Olympus imo. It doesn't take player skill in understanding the inner mechanics of the game to now that about every 3 turns she'll use her NP, so do something about that(Evade, Invuln, NP/Atk down, charge drain) and use Riders to chunk her down. The bigger your servants' numbers the faster you'll get through it. It's not hard to figure out takes maybe 2 or 3 tries to reach that conclusion. And when you're done with story, you are done with content until the next story or event. After that it's just farming and farming is not competitive among players, it's just an equation of what servants and what buffs will get you through a run fastest. This can be improved upon and does with every new servant added and becomes a solved problem. Castoria doesn't make using Skadi, Merlin, or Waver less effective strategies. Her introduction doesn't mean that the game evolves to overcome her presence because not everyone is gonna have her anyway. Castoria introduction is just a popularity contest of who will be in someone's support slot. That's it. You don't need her to get through content, you don't need her to make you farming faster, the game isn't and frankly cannot account for her existence in any meaningful way that isn't a challenge quest. A meta is a scene that evolves largely by way of direct player interaction in game in order for a winner to be decided. Without that factor, we just play this game to beat it as fast as we can, which becomes easier with every passing day. And that's completely fine.
I got a question about the 17 million downloads, it's about the limited master missions. I pretty much almost completed all the missions except from clearing lostbelt 5 section 1. But the thing is I already completed the LB5 section 1 and I'm currently in section 3. Is this a bug?
I'm thinking of pairing him with my Parvati and a Friend's Skadi. He gives Parvati 30% charge with his NP, so with an MLB IE, she'll have her NP for the next turn. After using her NP she'll give him 10% back, which with his S1 would let him shoot his NP again. If it won't, Parvati and Skadi have their S3, which give a total of 70%. Although ideally, Skadi will use her S3 for Parvati so she can use her NP to Overcharge his NP and finish the final wave.
I wanted him so bad when he was originally released (In North Anerica server), yet I could not get him in any roll. Imagine my surprise when he appeared, not once, but twice in the 5th anniversary banner! 😍

Surprised they haven't rerun the event in JP. Him and Dino Mama haven't been on rate up since so I do expect when they do come back they will likely get buffed too.
If he was after Castoria rather than before, I'd be tempted. My luck has been unreliable and mostly bad, so I'm hoarding as much as I can in the hopes it'll be enough. Good luck to everyone rolling for him though =)
Sometimes my gacha luck is mega cursed, or blessed one might say for this situation? I got him after one single ticket roll, other characters I whale'd and still got nothing so I guess it's ironic, FGO always give you the characters that you don't expect.

A the good shota my gssr from 5th anniversary I use him from time to time due to the lack of skadi but I make him work using my waver, castoria and a skadi from support

Voyagers biggest rival in his class is Hokusai, currently here in NA. Not factoring the soon to be released Castoria. Is he worth investing as much as you need to. If you already have Hokusai like I do?
I suspect it's probably the case - if his main drawback is low damage, he probably really wants an extra NP level or two to become an universal farmer. Mind you, if it's just about Berserkers, NP1 is likely to be enough.
Yes, actually NP3 is ideal since he has very low damage. Either you like him and invest heavily on him or skip him, there are other servants that require much less to farm efficiently.. like Kama Avenger.
He needs atleast np2 to farm with super scope, double skadi and waver. You can skip using waver if you got np3 and double skadi you just need the clothing that gives him 20% battery and have his battery at least level 6.
Voyager is, in essence, a worse Space Ishtar that is not only outshined by her and other traditional Quick Loopers, but is pretty much destined for future irrelevance between Castoria's upcoming debut and the far flung future release of Jacky, who despite her own brand of jank does the whole looping thing better in both farming _and_ CQs. Which is a damn shame since I love the little guy and want him *so* badly, but thems the breaks. Hopefully he'll get a few buffs in the future to his NP and kit to push him towards either being a full on Looper or more of a support, because I think the guy needs to commit to one aspect of his kit hard and not be so divided on it as is.

Voyager broke my dry streak in this game (first new 5-star from the gacha since Shuten in the Oniland rerun, *seven months ago*), so I was going to use him a lot anyway. Plus, he's a Foreigner, and I swear by the anti-Berserker class. Still, it's great that he has so many nice tools to make him good at farming.
Got him in a few multi rolls at the beginning of the event and oh boi was i happy about that, i am so tired of parv NP, and woosh just a few moments ago thanks to my besto dinosaur aka Cu Alter getting to bond 11 i got a multi and boom, NP2 besto boy, that added damage on his NP just made him waaaaaaay more viable aaaaaaaa
Np1 voyager is D tier at best, however if you NP 3 voyager, he becomes A+ easily. The difference in his NP damage is that massive especially if we are to consider him as a quick servant that is heavily reliant on his np.
I can attest to that. I have him at NP4 level 80 and he is a little monster and fantastic for farming. Also his design and lore is some of my favorite in the game. Would have raised him even without disgustingly good gacha luck
I was debating pulling him since Castoria is so close but said fuck it since I love him way too much and I wanted Dino mama also so I pulled and was able to at least get one of him and 3 dino mama with 180 quarts it's a lot but im really happy since I finally have this beautiful boy. Now hopefully the 950+ Quartz I have left is enough for Castoria.
Voyager is pretty much an NP interlude short of being an extremely well-rounded servant, likely his own event rerun will provide it which will certainly fix up his most glaring issue (that being poor damage) in general. I do hope that happens, but if nothing else he's not just exclusively farming thanks to his small but relevant utilities (CQ or otherwise).
I got him while I was just tossing a couple 10 rolls at the event banner to get some CEs to make farming easier. My reaction was something along the lines of "Well, he's a 5*, so I gotta level him I guess." I'm sure he'll come in handy if I'm doing some farming and just wanna turn my brain off for a bit.
I'm not seeing how Castoria's release is supposed to make him less efficient - it's not like his numbers become worse all of a sudden. Sure, I never really used him, but that's mostly because I have Dantes, so it all comes down to his power relative to the other options.
Well it's more-so that the game design changes because of Castoria. Kinda like how once Merlin was released they introduced break bars because Merlin broke the game lol. When Castoria releases all the events change from 3-3-3 waves to uneven waves (like 1-2-3, 2-12-, 3-1-1 etc...) and quick servants need 3-3-3 to loop efficiently. Also enemy HP increases a bit to make the waves harder to 3 turn. So he'll still be able to loop but instead of just needing double skadi you'll need battlesuit and Waver or a Kscope too for most events.
@@GAReviews Good points, though to be honest, the unique nodes are pretty bothersome to farm with Castoria, too. Heck, I tend to do them with Skadi more often than not simply because Douman is so ridiculous.
...Which is basically why the current JP meta is basically "Take 3 damage dealers who can also support each other". Don't have to loop when every servant only uses their NP once!

I failed to get him last Friday, when the Event started, with my measly 18 Tickets and around 148 SQs.
And the cruelest irony is, I can't even say it was a bad roll, because I got two copies of Koyo, plenty of the Event's CEs and even got spooked by Anastasia _AND_ Atalanta Alter *on the same damn 11 Summon!*
But regardless of that... I WASN'T ABLE TO GET A SINGLE COPY OF VOYAGER!
Which sucks, since I love reuniting characters together, and now Erice won't be able to see her Servant and best friend?!
Also, apperantly the Requiem collab *still* hasn't received a Rerun in JP as of yet, so there's not even the assurance that I could just try for him again in two years time! (at least not yet, but it doesn't help my anxiety)

Got him on First 10 roll (no Dino waifu tho) and given that my skadi was taking dust outside of team given i lacked a Quick aoe servant (i Only have Summer scatcha), he Is welcomed
I gave in and threw in 450 sq for him. Luckily got him np2 with Dino lady np3. I’m probably gonna grail him since I love his animations and he’s just really cute and fun.
I rolled for him on a whim, and ended up getting him to np2 in fifteen pulls... he is neat, but to be honest I wanted dinosaur lady more lol.
Mysterious Idol X Alter for Quick Farming Foreigner...just gotta wait for her turn.

It seems strange to me that people say that quick meta is gonna be disappearing when Castoria comes out like it's going to be less effective the second she does, when in reality it's just people changing their preferences. Buster teams to this day are still effective after all
Unless NA gets the support list update early (really, REALLY hope we do), it will likely be far more difficult for most players to consistently find Skadi on support, which will hamper Quick as it basically requires 2xSkadi to function properly.

But for farming purposes she is by no mean the only option, just a popular new toy for people to fawn their favorite arts servants with. I have nothing against Quick. I whaled for NP5 Voyager (he's my only NP5 SSR, the closest 2nd being Vlad at NP4 only because he's permanent and I've been around since shortly after the 1st NeroFest), but unless we get one crucial update very early 2xSkadi based teams are going to be far harder to field simply because significantly fewer Caster slots will have a Skadi in them for the foreseeable future.
@@rediceeee "Meta" is a term used in competitive gaming communities to mean that literal best options that give you the beat chance of victory over an opponent. Now the biggest component, imo at least, is that there needs to be a competitive component between players for a meta to form. Players are what develop the meta as it changes based on player discoveries of how mechanics work and developing of skill, along the release of new "content" (cards, characters, etc). Now the thing about FGO is that there can be player skill, there can be player discoveries and understanding of mechanics, BUT you do not need that to handle most content in the game. Most of the time you just need to know who is what class and have good enough numbers to hit them before you die. There is no competition between players. There is community and we help each other through content, but it's almost always possible to just braindead your way through content. FGO is made in such a way that you do not need to think extraordinarily hard about pushing through content, servants even regularly come as solutions to anything that was previously on the harder end. For a famous example, Camelot Gawain is a hard boss to beat with most party comps unless you have Euryale or any one who has a strong bonus trait damage against male or really any of his traits. That is a solved problem. A more recent example is Demeter, probably the actual hardest fight in Olympus imo. It doesn't take player skill in understanding the inner mechanics of the game to now that about every 3 turns she'll use her NP, so do something about that(Evade, Invuln, NP/Atk down, charge drain) and use Riders to chunk her down. The bigger your servants' numbers the faster you'll get through it. It's not hard to figure out takes maybe 2 or 3 tries to reach that conclusion. And when you're done with story, you are done with content until the next story or event. After that it's just farming and farming is not competitive among players, it's just an equation of what servants and what buffs will get you through a run fastest. This can be improved upon and does with every new servant added and becomes a solved problem. Castoria doesn't make using Skadi, Merlin, or Waver less effective strategies. Her introduction doesn't mean that the game evolves to overcome her presence because not everyone is gonna have her anyway. Castoria introduction is just a popularity contest of who will be in someone's support slot. That's it. You don't need her to get through content, you don't need her to make you farming faster, the game isn't and frankly cannot account for her existence in any meaningful way that isn't a challenge quest. A meta is a scene that evolves largely by way of direct player interaction in game in order for a winner to be decided. Without that factor, we just play this game to beat it as fast as we can, which becomes easier with every passing day.
And that's completely fine.

I got a question about the 17 million downloads, it's about the limited master missions. I pretty much almost completed all the missions except from clearing lostbelt 5 section 1. But the thing is I already completed the LB5 section 1 and I'm currently in section 3. Is this a bug?
Got him at NP2 while rolling for CEs!
I'm thinking of pairing him with my Parvati and a Friend's Skadi. He gives Parvati 30% charge with his NP, so with an MLB IE, she'll have her NP for the next turn. After using her NP she'll give him 10% back, which with his S1 would let him shoot his NP again. If it won't, Parvati and Skadi have their S3, which give a total of 70%. Although ideally, Skadi will use her S3 for Parvati so she can use her NP to Overcharge his NP and finish the final wave.
Got Kijyo to NP3 before getting Voyager. Now im swearing off summoning no matter whos on the banner until Castoria. I swear. Promise.

Surprised they haven't rerun the event in JP. Him and Dino Mama haven't been on rate up since so I do expect when they do come back they will likely get buffed too.
Voyager has had one other rate up at least, during White Day.
If he was after Castoria rather than before, I'd be tempted. My luck has been unreliable and mostly bad, so I'm hoarding as much as I can in the hopes it'll be enough.

Sometimes my gacha luck is mega cursed, or blessed one might say for this situation? I got him after one single ticket roll, other characters I whale'd and still got nothing so I guess it's ironic, FGO always give you the characters that you don't expect.

A the good shota my gssr from 5th anniversary I use him from time to time due to the lack of skadi but I make him work using my waver, castoria and a skadi from support

A new update we'll be next year. Basically it adds a set of 3 passives to every servant which you can unlock and upgrade
Voyagers biggest rival in his class is Hokusai, currently here in NA. Not factoring the soon to be released Castoria. Is he worth investing as much as you need to. If you already have Hokusai like I do?
He needs an attack buff to his NP, maybe a defence down to enemies and attack up on it

I suspect it's probably the case - if his main drawback is low damage, he probably really wants an extra NP level or two to become an universal farmer.
Mind you, if it's just about Berserkers, NP1 is likely to be enough.
Yes, actually NP3 is ideal since he has very low damage. Either you like him and invest heavily on him or skip him, there are other servants that require much less to farm efficiently.. like Kama Avenger.
He needs atleast np2 to farm with super scope, double skadi and waver.
You can skip using waver if you got np3 and double skadi you just need the clothing that gives him 20% battery and have his battery at least level 6.
NP2-3 is ideal. You have to max his first two skills to assure looping. MLB black grail will make up for his lack of damage.

Voyager is, in essence, a worse Space Ishtar that is not only outshined by her and other traditional Quick Loopers, but is pretty much destined for future irrelevance between Castoria's upcoming debut and the far flung future release of Jacky, who despite her own brand of jank does the whole looping thing better in both farming _and_ CQs. Which is a damn shame since I love the little guy and want him *so* badly, but thems the breaks. Hopefully he'll get a few buffs in the future to his NP and kit to push him towards either being a full on Looper or more of a support, because I think the guy needs to commit to one aspect of his kit hard and not be so divided on it as is.

His dmg at np1 is way to low to reliably farm harder nodes. You need np2. Even max fou and level 100 he's still low dmg
