Looks like the price of this truck has already gone up some since we shot this video, Today! Regardless, this thing comes completely RTR including it's own battery, and has Two Motors on board! We love the fact that it has two speeds, both accessible with the simple throw of a switch. Both speeds are noticeably different, yet even the high speed doesn't come close to what they rate it at, 30+ mph. We think if you happen to catch this on a flash sale, it'd be worth it, maybe around the $70 to $75 price point. Where it is currently, would be hard for us to recommend. This truck is actually great for the price. It really wakes up with a 3s battery though. It is super durable and has taken a serious beating. It took me about 20 days of hard bashing before shearing a cup from the diff. $10 part and back in action. (I actually bought a whole second truck since it would arrive faster than the part and I would have a whole set of parts... but then I ordered the part too and now have 2 full trucks or 1 and a whole set of parts. :) ) Using the 3s gives you more control in the air as well as obviously more speed. Significantly more. Not sure what the deal is but some of these are slightly different out of the box depending on the distributor. My first one seemed faster on 2s than the newer one, and maybe a little heavier even. First one came with parallel adapter and strap to run 2 included 2 s batteries and a snap on battery cover to help waterproof when running a single battery. Second one came with 2 batteries but no adapter and no snap on cover. Have not taken apart the back half to see if any internals are different. I suspect the motors might be changed between production runs or something.... OK now I made myself curious and will have to look.
Oh, and the shocks need to be replaced with the oil filled ones. Big difference in handling.

no man, that's not how the rc world works right now, 80$ is ridiculous for an awd 10th scale rc monster truck in terms of us standards
And it runs very well almost as well as the Xmaxx just not as fast or large of scale
I have the same truck and I go up a ice hill with this little bugger, its great after paying the lock tight. The hill of ice i go up is bigger then your hill lol.

Hi guys.Joey here.Im known as Mr Straight to the point. It isn't worth more than fifty bucks and it's not four-wheel drive. Great it has two Motors but what good is it if you can't climb a hill.? I was hoping for more speed but I guess with a truck of that size that is not one of those "big brands" that it is not bad. This would be great great for one of our younger Grandkids to learn on. I think Nate summed itt up when he said "Sad little truck". Bummer well not everything in the world is perfect. It really is fun trying it out though! That is a rebranded Xinlehong 9125. Exact same car. I just took a photo of mine but... can't post it. That said it really is a fun car for a tight area.
Be careful though. Grit can get in through the vents on the sides at the back and wreck the gears. You'd have to unscrew and take off the cover to know. I know because it happened to me. I just changed both motors AND the driveshaft this week :) :(
Oh, if you want to try a cheaper Redcat I have a Blackout XTE Pro. I wasn't expecting much but it is zippy as heck on 2s. A bit of a challenge to keep upright at times, though. Needs a wider stance.

That GPS can be switched to MPH if you plug it into a pc or laptop. I have one and it works well. I appreciate the comment that it may be 3mph off. Tells me my boats may be faster than I thought. Thanks for the videos.

if it has 2 motors you should be able to use 4s and be fine, or does it not work like that? Normally the cars with 1 motor use 2s so i was just wondering.
I think the issue would be with the ESC. If the ESC and the motor hold up, you could strip out the gears. But the again, it would be hard to find a 4s to fit in the car.
Hoping u had throttle trim all the way up cus it seemed way slow, oh ya I’m the winner too, I just changed my name from one of those u named 😂

I’m with Nate. I notice when people say VIN number for vehicles. I forget the model, but the under $50 metal parts truck beats this one hands down.

It says up to 40 miles an hour. Does that mean downhill it would end up going faster and could hit the 40 miles an hour? Compared to being on flat

Yours didnt come with dual batteries with dual connector? Dont think the 2nd batt does much more though

ive not gotten into wheeled RC yet, but why would you want to reverse the steering?
Does anyone have problems with this truck. My steering works but forward and backwards dont work anymore they keep looking into place.

I have the slightly slower version of this truck, it’s little brother made by the same company (Xinlehong 9116) I am looking to upgrade soon, but worry this might not quite be a good enough upgrade...
Any suggestions? My preferred style of driving is “careful bashing” at skateparks😃

My granddaughter turns 9 next month .would this be a good starter a suggestion gift for her? I fly drones and helicopters which she love to watch. can you suggest anything else? I have an acre of flat grass that she can drive on.
This is strong enough to run through grass, yet light enough it wouldn't hurt to get bumped by it. For those reasons alone, this would make a good truck for her. We had a blast with it! Of course, we could recommend other trucks, but for a 9 year old, I think she'd like this a lot :-) If you lived close, we'd sell you ours cheap ;-)

Sucks I didn't win. Just got a Foxx s911 and it didn't drive and nearly caught fire. I have a 2nd degree burn from it. I'll just send it back I guess. BTW bought it new from amazon

Other than the body cover, that looks like a double for the XLH 9125 you had on before. But it could handle the hill (before the weeds got as bad probably) and you were concerned about the battery latch which fell off once. Although it looks like the exact same latch system on this one. So, two questions if you continued driving the 9125... A) can the 9125 handle the hill now, and B) have you had any more hatch issues
Here i like the color, it does look like a nice little basher. As long as you stick mostly to speed bump size hills. Should try this one on the ramp. You mentioned mosquitos the other day. I watched the news on North Carolina flooding. They have been invaded by a NON Native mosquito that is three times normal sized mosquitoes, they are more aggressive, and news said they can get through clothing, due to bigger size. They said there are billions of them. They did say they don't do well in cold weather. So they are hoping they will be killed off,or seriously reduced. They didn't say if they were any where else. So keep spraying on repellent, wear loose clothing, hire a cave full of bats🐲🐲🐲 ( as close to a bat as I had.🐴. Good fun review,stay safe. P.S. if you look in a mirror you will see a SAYLOR ⚓.🐴🐴.
