Machine Learning Methods and Open-Source Database for Magnetic Core Loss Modeling

This demo presents an on-going research project - MagNet - for modeling magnetic core loss with machine learning methods, including an automatic data acquisition system, an open-source magnetic core loss database, a set of machine learning algorithms, and a website for visualizing and processing the core loss data. The data acquisition
system has been proved effective; the open-source database is continuously expanding; the machine learning algorithms are getting mature; and the website is frequently updated. The goal of this demonstration is to cultivate a research community with researchers from academia and industry to improve the methods and tools used for modeling magnetic core loss.
