I was able to install windows 8.1 in my hp laptop this way but the problem right now is my track pad is not working.
I tried using mouse and it is working fine.
I then tried installing many trackpad drivers but it's not showing in device manager.
I can use trackpad when I am in hp hardware diagnostic during start up.

I think I messed up😢 when I went to the last step the one about choosing Wich driver to download win 8.1 on I tried all my driver's but none of them worked so my dumbass thought maybe i have to make new storage drivers or some shit that a new button does so I chose my c driver and pressed on it then it asked for somthing like a number I pressed new then my c drivers storage went from 40 gb free to 274gb free I said oo cool I'll try it now but it didn't it just doesn't work I think I'll just give up on optimizing my shit laptop Soo f me 😢
