Do you know how those motors are set/adjusted as far as angle. I’ve got twins on mine. One on each pontoon and nobody seems to know how to angle them for optimum performance. Straight, slightly angled toward each other? I just need a starting point and can fine tune from there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

While common sense and safety always need to be at the forefront when operating any boat in any conditions, we do have some advice on handling waves: Rather than riding head-on into the waves, cruise so the waves are at a 30 to 45 degree angle from the center of the boat and rather than slowing down when riding into the waves, trim up just before hitting the wave to lift the boat’s bow more. 👍

Dyno Don. Your right bc they don't go up in the air when hitting another wake and then they don't nose dive at all like every other pontoon on the water. For you to come with a smart ass comment like that right away says alot about what you know about boats. Lol. If your gonna say a tri toon doesn't do that in gonna call you a fucking liar, bc I've seen one nose dive under the water and it wasn't going 70 mph. more like 25 maybe 30 and the people go for a hell of a ride. So come on try me.

Torsten Hranchuk they’re also 4 stroke motors and my 225’s are 2 strokes. I know the new 4 strokes should last longer and get better fuel economy but I prefer the old smokers because they just make more power than the 4 strokes and they’re lighter and they’re much easier to work on because they’re a 1000 times more simple.
