When kenaki smiled in the manga in the arima fight it looked so great because you can feel that his character is really changing into something more. Unlike the anime.
@@phamdunk3345 I don't think you know how anime seasons are produced There is absolutely no way that any group of animators could animate an episode every week, they animate the whole season while the previous one is still airing and during the break in between seasons.

While the anime may be bad... I have to say, even as a huge manga fan, they handled Arima's monologue very well, the soft music, the nice artwork and the voice acting was on point.
It's obvious when Kaneki was fighting in the black reaper mindset that he wasn't able to beat Arima. As Arima stated and as was plain to see from Kaneki being cut up and hit constantly. Still I think it's hard to argue he didn't get a legitimate victory over Arima post-Hide conversation, white hair, however you want to call it. SayingArima didn't really have a true reason to fight after having pushed him, well, I'm not sure. Arima would want to still be trying because Kaneki would be able to tell if he was holding back. If Arima's intention is now to be the one to die during the fight, just holding back wouldn't be the answer. He'd want to push Kaneki to feel like he can't just target his weapon, that he'd have to strike him down. Another thing to consider is that Arima would probably want to make sure Kaneki has the actual ability to win. Sure he's confirmed he's gotten Kaneki into the right mental state, but he has to know that he has the skill and merit to be able to defeat him. He also does legit say that in all his years he's never felt like he was out of options and defeated, I doubt that's just lip service. I feel like a lot of people ignore that line, and look only at what Arima said earlier about being able to kill him hudreds of times over. That was true. But him saying he was defeated at the end is also true, and it's obvious to see that Kaneki had reservations, doubts, all kind of mental baggage as black reaper and his intent and desire was to buy time, and die. As white hair he wants to live and is fighting with renewed mental clarity and determination, and you can see his actual fighting skill improves. Now I know the series isn't about the fights, but it irks me that people seem to cherry pick the events that happened and make all kinds of wild interpretations about the fight and Kaneki's ability and skill.
Yea I agree, Arima saying that this fight was the one time he ever felt defeated speaks volumes like yea Arima could've killed him hundreds of times in their initial exchange, but I would argue that wasn't the case for their 2nd exchange after the post-Hide conversation and Arima did truly lose
I am just mad about Arima not calling Kaneki as Haise after that whole “I am glad that I was able to leave something behind.... Hais..” and dying in the middle of it. That would make the scene a whole lot more emotional.

why can say thats kankeki father ?
beautiful video
How do humans and ghouls coexist don’t ghouls get hungry and eat humans
They will just drink coffee for the rest of their lives lmao
Meanwhile... The Narrator said "Kaneki" while the captions is "Carnegie"
hey !!! really good video +1 sub !! I do have one question tho, realistically (and not just because he's the main character) why did eto and arima choose Kaneki and not someone else that could be stronger or with more will to change the world ?
Watcher JonSnow because Kaneki was one of the only half ghouls that saw the world from both perspectives and wasn't psychotic (like takizawa) or a failure (like Amon) he was a perfect result and therefore the perfect choice.
Also protagonist powers do have a say. 😂
@@telurik9183 ooh alright ! thanks mate haha
Watcher JonSnow np
Isn’t furuta a natural one eyed ghoul ??
nah he got a transplant
he is a natural half ghoul like Arima
Is this based on the manga or the anime
Wait the most infamous fight already came out? Why the fuck isn't it on the front page with millions of views then, did they really butcher it that bad..
Great video very interesting thank you for it
You're damn good at explaining this stuff!
Will you be doing any reviews on the anime anytime soon?
i really really love this fight. definitely one of my favourite moments in the manga.
Where do you get all the artworks from? And don't get copyright issues to use them?
Don’t hate on me but is hide dead because I’m confused
Hide is alive
Did anyone else love Hirako
Oh the fight makes so much sense now......Now how the fuck did the anime fuck it up so much
the background you use legit hurts my eyes
Cool vid
thank you man
