Thanks for the review. I'm planning on buying this laptop with the WQHD (2560 x 1440) 300 nit screen. Do you recommend it? Or you recommend with other screen? Thanks in advance!
Perfect review, thank U... I want to ask if this laptop fits for a digital marketer and business work field according to this Era of rapid growth in technology and digital tools?
is the video editing run smoothly? i'm a college student and doing a lot of video editing 1080p for hours, is it worth it to buy this 6th gen laptop? or any recommendation?
This video was edited using the X1 Carbon 6th Gen with no problem (4K60). More importantly it is whether you need faster encoding times? I was happy to go away for one hour plus while it was encoding. Otherwise look at newer 10th Gen Intel H-Series or AMD Ryzen 4000 H series CPUs.
Yeah, I've had one since November and it's great. Slight improvements in most areas over the 6th gen. If you have the 6th gen the upgrade's probably not worth it. There's a 500 nit 4k version too. Also worth noting that Linux works flawlessly out of the box apart from the fingerprint reader (a driver will be released shortly, apparently). This makes it a really good choice for developers.
Can you upgrade an 8gb model to 16bg? Also for basic use should I be looking for an i7 or will an i5 do the job. Looking at these as second hand units for some IT education and practice.
What would be a fair price for this laptop currently?
300

what a beautiful laptop ?
The light flickering in the video is quite bad :/
Sorry! Forgot to up the shutter speed dial on some of the b-roll footage.
Do you recommend this for programmers. Is it good for running virtual machines? I heard it has heating issues. is it true?
Almost every laptop you can imagine will heat up somewhere along the line Lol
What is the difference between it and the third generation? Do you recommend the third generation?
Newer hardware specs. 3rd Gen is an older model, so therefore slower in performance.
Do you recommend for video Editing
Thanks
