    I totally agree with you about arches. Seriously. I prefer boahong which people say is comparable but I like it better. Obviously I've not tried all papers but it's what I truly prefer and it's quite a bit cheaper I also enjoy bockingford and think it's better as well. But honestly im happy to be fortunate enough to own good quality paper and supplies. But everyone has their preferences. Have a great day

      Arches is the default cotton brand that is most accessible so when people switch to cotton paper, I can see why they praise arches. When you've tried other brands though, you can see it might be overrated.

    Thank you for this real time tutorial on doing misty “pine trees” as still struggling to get look want & a brush in right size (holds enough water for cotton paper) so will look at your one on just doing pine trees! Ty!

    What is your opinion on HOT press paper for these types of paintings,.. or HOT press in General and when you prefer to use it?

      I've never used hot press paper and have no knowledge or opinion on it.

    I’ve watched this twice so I could paint with you. Mine didn’t turn out as well as I’d like but A for effort 😂 I really love yours it looks soooo good and the misty look just makes it. Thank you for sharing 🎨💜😊

    Have you ever tried Kuretake Gansai Tambi water soluble graphite? There's a violet in the set (violet, red, green, brown, & yellow) that I want to try this with. New to watercolours and love that your piece is so moody.I love that!

      I haven't tried graphite, just plain watercolors :)
