  • Steve Testrake is a Spartan graduate and Aeronautical Engineer at Northrop Grumman. Following in his father and uncle's footsteps, Steve decided to pursue a career in aviation, beginning at Spartan College. Steve's work in aviation has taken him through multiple companies, where he worked as a Flight Test Engineer on the B1 Bomber and on the first flight and weapons drops for the B2 Bomber with Northrop Grumman.
    Steve is happy with the education he received from Spartan and believes wholeheartedly that having a trade is "critically important."

    Steve, I enjoyed your brief visit on Sunday. I wish you had more time since our love for aviation has taken a similar path except I decided to fly the Boeings rather than work on them for a career. Get in touch or at least visit for a few hours next time you're in town.
    I enjoyed this presentation and hopefully young people will take your advice here to explore a creer in aviation maintenance. Aircraft mechanics allow pilots to fly their airplanes 😉
