been trying this myself, I found it best to use a thin pick. my preference is a Dunlop tortex .72mm. Gripped a little closer to the string but still centered. the key to the section at 0:59 is to remain relaxed with the picking hand, dont grip tight, dont tense up, and stay relaxed. also having the Bass strap shorter and keeping the bass close to my chest definitely helped.
Really cool, but I feel like some of this could have been notated better. For example, at the third measure at 0:55, instead of writing a dotted eighth note, a sixteenth tied into an eighth would be easier to read.
