      You not a bass player clearly 😂 because since the first time I heard this song all I heard was the bass it is what makes the song so bad ass. What makes you groove to it is the baseline no the guitar by the way I play both the bass by far my favorite

    • @kthemajestic
      @kthemajestic 9 месяцев назад +3

      @joseflorian6621 what deems somebody "not a bassist", I play both guitar and bass and respectfully the bass fully compliments the guitar. Bass plays the last note of the guitar measure, or plays a rhythm practically identical to the guitar but then goes back to holding rhythm. I love a good lead bass line but this one is served as a support and compliment of the guitar through and through

    Have you got colour in your cheeks?
    Do you ever get that fear that you can't shift
    The type that sticks around like summat in your teeth?
    Are there some aces up your sleeve?
    Have you no idea that you're in deep?
    I've dreamt about you nearly every night this week
    How many secrets can you keep?
    'Cause there's this tune I found that makes me think
    Of you somehow and I play it on repeat
    Until I fall asleep
    Spilling drinks on my settee
    (Do I wanna know?)
    If this feeling flows both ways
    (Sad to see you go)
    Was sorta hoping that you'd stay
    (Baby we both know)
    That the nights were mainly made
    For saying things that you can't say
    Tomorrow day
    Crawling back to you
    Ever thought of calling when you've had a few?
    'Cause I always do
    Maybe I'm too busy being yours
    To fall for somebody new
    Now I've thought it through
    Crawling back to you
    So have you got the guts?
    Been wondering if your heart's still open
    And if so I wanna know what time it shuts
    Simmer down and pucker up
    I'm sorry to interrupt
    It's just I'm constantly on the cusp
    Of trying to kiss you
    I don't know if you feel the same as I do
    But we could be together if you wanted to
    (Do I wanna know?)
    If this feeling flows both ways
    (Sad to see you go)
    Was sorta hoping that you'd stay
    (Baby we both know)
    That the nights were mainly made
    For saying things that you can't say
    Tomorrow day
    Crawling back to you (crawling back to you)
    Ever thought of calling when you've had a few?
    (you've had a few)
    'Cause I always do ('cause I always do)
    Maybe I'm too (maybe I'm too busy)
    Busy being yours to fall for somebody new
    Now I've thought it through
    Crawling back to you
    (Do I wanna know?)
    If this feeling flows both ways

    • @Chapiebara
      @Chapiebara 5 лет назад +13

      My main tips are 1) Enjoy it bass becomes a lot easier if you enjoy it. 2) Use a pick if you’ve had past experience to start with if not use your fingers. 3) Final tip when playing a note play to the edge of it rather than the middle as it’s less pressure needed to hold it down.

    • @user-xw6uh3yp7g
      @user-xw6uh3yp7g 5 лет назад +20

      Samspog that’s bad advice. If someone has previously played guitar they should play bass with fingers or else they will think of them as the same instrument and they’ll play the bass like a guitar.

    • @jammerboi8401
      @jammerboi8401 4 года назад +7

      The bass is easier to pick with fingers. And I only played guitar with a pick. But, that comes down to personal preference. I've just picked up the bass myself, honestly, I recommend focusing on scales and learning music theory. If you already know that, then learning songs and creating new stuff will come easy. I've learned some violin and some guitar, but bass is the first instrument I'm really wanting to dive into music theory with. It's a simple instrument that can be as easy, and as complicated as you want it to be. Perfect for learning music theory. But as the other guy said, enjoy it. If music theory just seems boring to you, learn songs. Since you are getting lessons you will learn the scales, and that's the most important part of my tips so... yea, just have fun.

      /10\ /10\
