@@kermitgotthesickkicks4265 because just a few minsutes into this video it's clearly stated that this is a part 1 that only covers part of the whole series. that will be covered in part 2 (if you're talking about the comic featuring Terra), just like when i mentioned it in my old teen titans video.
The Japanese intro wasn't random, I remember reading that they used it to signal that the episode was going to have a heavier or darker tone to it
Edit: I got it backwards, the English was for the more serious episodes and the Japanese was for the more lighthearted episodes, fact checked myself xD

Damn, never realized that in the episode "How Long is Forever", Starfire only leaped 20 years into the future, so the Titans would likely only be in their mid to late 30s! They made them look so raggety, I mean, 30s really isn't that old sheeeesh lol 😅

Its a visual glitch on your end that can be easily verified by using a different account. Sometimes comments and replies even become duplicated on other threads and even videos that are unrelated to the ones where you left them. This is also a glitch on your end. One that I have seen countless times over the past year and reported to youtube many a time, and still see periodically.

Teen Titans is one of my all time favorite animated DC superhero cartoons, It was a totally badass show! Though it still sucks that they ended the show with a massive unresolved cliffhanger.

I’m not sure if Jordan gets into it (I’m only one hour on my watch so far lol) but the Teen Titans GO! movie hinted that we would get an update…and then I stopped paying attention. RIP me
Robin was living out his dream of being like Batman throughout this goated original series.
With the show even doing a great job at highlighting how being like Batman is also a negative thing.

Realizing that possible-future Beast Boy had succumbed to his self-conscious ways and quit hero-ing…then realizing that Young Justice Gar essentially battles depression and also quits hero work is pretty profound. It seems a bit part of the BB character is about combatting inner demons like mental illness 😢
Yea and you know I think that that future is only because he wasn’t ready for solo yet. He needed those few years on the titans to learn and grow before he could really make it on his own

I remember being a kid and nervously asking my mom in the middle of the night if she would allow me to watch Teen Titans when it was new, because it had Teen in the name and looked more adult like. She told me maybe, depends but she was trying to sleep so of course she said whatever to get me to leave her alone.

A couple months ago I looked up Teen Titans retrospective and was surprised by the lack of videos on the show. Glad to see it getting some love now.
I think Teen Titans is on the rise to becoming one of those shows that people are just coming back to rewatching right now for some reason. :P.
Teen Titans is such an incredible show. I watched it religiously as a kid and teen. And it always amazed me how they balanced the characters. I mean they made Robin who's normally just a punching bag, comic relief, or even a damsel in distress a certified badass and he NEVER felt weak even in the presence of those with powers. I don’t know how they did it, but its the reason why Robin is my second favorite Titan. Raven obviously the best. :)
Also, fun fact: Killer Moth's home is based on the Brady Bunch house.

The original teen titans animated series was so awesome an absolute classic with the brilliant combination of overarching storylines mix of compelling drama and light hearted comedy the great character arcs team dynamics the coming of age themes and lessons in growing up its a very well rounded show absolutely love it
4.5 WTF !!! Anyway, I always loved Cyborg the most. Kind, stouthearted, and smart. That talk between him and starfire about understanding prejudice was very moving. "Of course I know... I'm a cyborg."

I will never forgive Cartoon Network for replacing the original Teen Titans with the horrendous Teen Titans Go.

@@YoshisVinylI mean, it is an alright (but nothing even close to Teen Titans) shut your brain off thing if there is quite literally nothing else to watch, thankfully I don't have cable anymore and thus don't settle for whatever the channels choose to broadcast at the time but watch whatever I feel like instead
Teen Titans Go isn't a bad show, it's just a different take for a different generation.
I can't believe it's been on this long.
I feel like one of my favorite episodes in this entire series has to be only human. The reason being it subtly says that even though we as a human being think we are giving hundred percent effort we can always push ourselves to go past what we thought was our limit. Cheesy? Very much so. Simple truth? Yes. But how many people are taught this at a young age anymore. The best part of it being I still get emotional with cyborg as I watch it.
The amount of effort this FOUR AND A HALF HOUR video had put into it is astounding. I look forward to part 2 and thank you for making this
This show was integral to my childhood like no other, it's one of the shows that me and my brother and sister would all gather in one of our rooms with snacks when they did big marathons and whatnot (it was always the room of whoever had the biggest TV)
It's crazy how reviews and remarks and explanations of 22 minute episodes can show how deep this childhood cartoon was. This show truly was lightning in a bottle

I loved teen titans as a kid. The intro got me pumped up for the show every time. The development of the characters was awesome for a cartoon. Avatar will always be number 1 for me, but Teen Titans is not that far behind.
Jordan is easily one of the hardest working RUclipsrs I've seen. Blessed to have lived long enough to see people like Jordan make several hour videos on shows and games I grew up loving. Thank you for the weeks/months of effort you put into these videos. They never fail to make my day brighter

Was not expecting to watch a 4 hour video on teen titans, but... I'm so glad I am.
I loved the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon as a young teen.. the animation, the designs, the stories, the voice acting... all top notch. plus Raven 😍. The only thing I ever didn't like was the last episode that was all over the place and felt like it was meant to be the first episode of a new season story arc rather then a tacked on final episode that aired randomly, weeks after the previous episode ( and it was on a weekday cartoon Network block called Miguzi ( no idea how i still remember its name) instead of toonami like the other episodes and referred to as a "never before seen episode"
Given how iconic Teen Titans has become, I hope that there will be a in-depth breakdown of all the seasons. Season 4 and The End trio logo will be an amazing piece to analyze.
Slade was hands down one of the best villains in the entire DCAU.

I remember a lot of my childhood and content from CN I use to watch, but there are certain little things that are embedded deep in my memory. Those scenes were one of them and it’s crazy how much seeing them brought me back rq
Thank you so much for making this Jordan. It really reminded me of time I spent with my recently deceased brother. We watched every episode together as children and even had toys of all the different characters and made our own story lines with them. I really enjoyed watching it and can't thank you enough. I also wanted to say that the battle at 2:01:42 where Robin is forced to betray his team and Slade starts influencing him takes place on a WAYNE ENTERPRISES building!!! I'm seeing Slade trying to destroy Batman's influence in the symbolism of the battle here. This show is great!
I remember the Tera story line leaving me devastated as a kid. Even before knowing what love truly was, it cut me deep.

It had me hooked on episode one. I knew after the first episode went off....I NEEDED MORE. One of those shows that made me forget about the hardships of school and my life as a whole. My brain was instantly happy everytime this came on. I'd try my hardest to catch each episode lol. Truly made my imagination race.
I remember playing the Flash games on CN's website, a lot of them were endless scrollers but I remember a game where you played as Beast Boy and it was a legit puzzle platformer with actual levels. I never finished it but I remember playing it a lot. The only other show that had that complex of free flash games online was Totally Spies for some reason.
I still would've loved to get a cross-over with the Static Shock TV show in some capacity
Batman the Animated series was my 90's, Teen Titans was my 2000's.
So I started watching a little older, probably around age 11 way after teen titans had aired. I used to record every episode and go through every one until I realized I had watched every single episode several times over. I then watched trouble in Tokyo on a kindle that buffered every 5 seconds. I was COMMITTED
What coincidence, I just finished binged watching the series Yesterday with the Tokyo movie, let all forget about Go.

It is crazy to me how 16 years later I remember every single one of these episodes as you go through them. I was never even massively invested in Teen Titans (I think), guess it goes to show how many re-runs I must have seen.

Watched this show few times already, and after watching this video, which is basically retelling of a few seasons(I am not saying that this is a bad thing btw) I am going to rewatch this show again. Wow! I remember Teen Titans. It's one if my favorite Warner Bros. shows from my childhood. I grew up with that show. It first aired in 2003 and last aired in 2006.

I like how during Ep.14 Starfire went into the future due to Warp, the kids with BeastBoy were wearing the same type of clothes people from Batman Beyond would have on. Kinda a subtle reference to the two shares shared universe.

I grew up with Teen Titans and Batman Beyond, which helped stoked my love and appreciation for western animation. Then I discovered Young Justice later on and it blew me away, becoming my absolute favorite. I love this universe sooo much and wish we could have more well developed shows like we used to.

For some reason I'm comforted by how similar you look to your icon.
I just binged this show and the trouble in Tokyo movie after not seeing it since I was a little kid and wow it’s even better than I remember. Great animation, characters, stories, lessons, drama, light hearted humor, goofy funny episodes along with serious heavy compelling deep episodes. It’s a mix of everything its one of those cartoons that can be enjoyed by kids and adults. God the theme song is such a banger I catch myself humming it all the time.
