Speaking 🗣️ like yours, is too difficult, but the most important thing is to understand the native American English speakers. Your presentation is really understood! Teacher Wes, thank you so much for this wonderful video!
Thank you, Professor. You are very patient and explain things in detail and with examples. For those of us who are not native speakers, it is a great help. Thank you again.
Hey Wes, You have been creating awesome content and have been quite rational. I have been following you for a while and guess what, I am from Pakistan and have been working for a U.S based company as an IT Professional where I have to talk to my manager and have to collaborate with the native English speakers. They usually ask me for how long I have been living or lived in the English country because they tell me that I usually speak as fluently as they do and the way I use Idioms in my routine communication. This is all because of you and another quite popular YT channel named "Learn English with TV Series". Thanks for producing such great content.
my heartfelt gratitude for all the effort and dedication you put into teaching us. Your passion for the English language has not only improved my skills but also ignited a love for literature and writing in me. Your guidance and support have been invaluable, and I am truly grateful for everything you have done.
You deserve much gratitude from the bottom of All your learners'hearts in general and all Burundians'hearts particularly, wherever you are, make sure that we learn a lot from you therefore please accept my warmest congratulations, may God get mixed up in your all affairs.Keep up the good work dear Teacher Wes❤

Hello. My name is Roxana. I'm from Cuba. I graduated as a teacher of English language. I'm very interested in practising the language, mostly speaking. I would like to join your group channel, so would you mind sending me the link. Both, your English and pedagogical methods are excellent❤
Hi Wes, congrats to you. The channel has reached 1M subscribers. I'm so happy for you. Thank you so much for your hard work, and we appreciate it very much. Keep up the good work. 😀😇
It interesting to know how it all works but when you trying to listen it its totally different and rather difficult You can take any modern film and you ll understand what am talking about Iappreciate your time and it was really interesting
You do amazing. I really when I heard two native speakers talking about something together I don't understand but when I listen podcast I understand I don't know what should I do please give me some suggestions thanks my lovely teacher ♥️
Hola Wes,eres un profesor increíble.Eres de Estados Unidos. Me pregunto porqué cuando hablás en tu idioma yo te entiendo en un 80 % más o menos. Y en un filme o canción no todo.A veces abrevian tanto,su estilo según quien sea. Creo que para hablar en forma nativa es practicar constantemente y tener a alguien nativo para hacerlo.Y / o vivir allá. Y no todos pronuncian igual dentro de lo ya abreviado. Sos un genio,y te entiendo cuando te escucho. No soy avanzada.Gracias, gracias y gracias. From Argentina.😊😊😊
Lovely, but that takes intensive practice and listening to be able to do it like a native. Nevertheless, it's not impossible. It's a matter of training consistently. You remind me of old days. ❤
I feel like i learned a different English language in school than the one spoken on the streets. It would be great if we were taught the everyday spoken English on the streets of New York to begin with, instead of the academy language. Languages are always changing and those changes come from the spoken English on the streets not in academies.
Thanks so much for commenting & checking out the lesson. I am about to start a speaking course next week. In this course we warm up with pronunciation or connected speech before transitioning into our weekly speaking topic. bit.ly/Join_Speak_Up 😊
I like watching when Congress is in session. Senators and House Representatives alike speak very clearly. I don't understand the language of the gutter/street though.
I think it’s more of assimilation has got to do with understanding. I’m Filipino American although I speak several foreign languages, I’m used to listening fast speech the American way. How they pronounce and some of it has been short cut. My American mother in law, pronounce the word “ have “ to half. I understand what she meant the way the sentence is constructed.
Speaking, speaking, speaking, speaking, speaking, speaking, speaking, and speaking! Thank you, Wes, for this little shadowing lesson! Regards from Ukraine! There's a big blackout; peace to all the world!
Thanks for commenting. The questions would have a slightly different meaning. If you want to be friends you would say, "Can we be friends?" Using 'get along' would refer to your ability to be friends and work together. 👍
Hope you learned something new. 😉 Remember, you can join my speaking course and practice with me. Click on the link to learn more. bit.ly/Join_Speak_Up 🎉
It's hard not because English is hard but because in school they teach us differently than is in reality
Thanks for commenting & sharing with us. 😊
You have to do both
...so true🥺
