Vespa next to the leather wing chair reminded me of our lounge except Mrs K won't allow me to have a scooter in the lounge. That's the sort of place I would love to create if I became a multi millionaire. It was a little different - we enjoyed it and the cars and bikes really added to it - it’s great when you can relate to them isn’t it - can’t believe you’re not allowed a bike in the house - thought that would have sold it to her 😂 We loved the concept of it and it felt quite special. I loved the Fiat 126 and would love to see all 6 ft 5 of David driving 1 😂😂😂 it was expensive no getting away from it but it was a unique and lovely place I always wanted a Vespa! How are you Karlos?

It was supposed to go in to build last week but our relationship with the dealer has been poor at best so I've stopped chasing and now just waiting for the day we get a call but I would not be surprised if it didn't get built this month. The order is heading towards 2 years now.😂
It was amazing and the facilities superb (as they should be for that cost) I reckon I would quite happily go in one of the smaller pitches too! I will be watching his wallet Tim x I hope you guys are ok? Rachel
I must be a Scrooge, our 40th wedding anniversary is this weekend, Off to the Peak District (where we spent our Honeymoon) for 16 days. All pitches less than £30 a night, and if my dear wife wants a hot tub we have an outdoor shower.

I loved the shower, my pizza was delicious and I used the yoga studio for a relaxing yoga session. It really was a great site and lovely to spend time with you both and Roxy dog. Thanks for helping me put the "never to be unwrapped" toilet tent away David and thanks for treating me to cocktails and pizza!!! David.

Loved the idea of the sauna and treatment rooms. So nice for a special occasion! Hot tub looked good though pity about the cold spots. Lovely to see a unique site like that. Great that it’s dog friendly too.

What a strange place, lovely pitches and views. Not sure why you would spend time in the gym, yoga suite, games room and other recreation areas. We go away to relax not to do ‘stuff’. Then they charge you extra for the firefighters, they need to get a grip. Are firefighters expensive?
Hi David, I think some folks like that sort of thing, like at hotels where they have some of those facilities but it’s not for everyone for sure. I don’t think firefighters are overly expensive, we get the wooden wool ones at home for the fire (as they don’t leave a paraffin type smell) and they are £15 ish for a big box full.last time I looked the cube type ones were perhaps £1 a pack and the pack would do a good few fires. We are having to go off grid on grass for the next 3 at least to balance it off lol Was a nice stay and nice to go somewhere different to the norm and the video doesn’t do it justice I don’t think of the actual atmosphere. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary. That was an interesting site. I can’t quite get my head around how they can provide that level of facilities with only a handful of pitches, unless the other accommodation you mentioned has a higher number of units. I do agree with an earlier comment about paying £5 for a dog. We have three small dogs and we often have to pay £3 a night per dog and I’m not really sure why! I think the rule about bring your own firelighters was also silly. However, my father worked at the pit and in all my life we never used a firefighter but I somehow doubt there’s kindling and newspapers! 😂. Thanks as always for sharing an interesting video.

A good video. Looked ok but not for us. Think a lot of money wasted on the spa area and yoga studio , will anyone use them???? Also the vintage cars etc etc , spa and cars seem pointless, i just cant see the need for either on such a tiny site. Think even with the hot tub the cost for your pitch was way too much and the hot tub wasnt the best. The other pitches were way too expensive too ( only our opinion) If they had spent money on things like a swim spa that you could hire for an hour i think that would have been better but just seems so much wasted money on such a tiny site i cant imagine they will ever get their money back. And so limited, no caravans, no locals can use the bar or spa, its like they dont want to succeed. The site was empty except you and your sister and i think they need to make a few changes with prices and who’s allowed to make it work.
All fair points - we liked the quirkiness of it for something a little bit different and for a treat. Know what you mean about swim spa as we used to visit a site in South West Scotland which had a swim spa, steam room, hot tub and sauna and used to hire that and it was great.
