I thought it had a nice action. What people don’t realize is how hard it is to get small baits to have any action. You getting it to wobble and porpoise the way you wanted is pretty impressive. But I’m guessing that’s the engineering playing a part in that. Great video as always
This was incredibly simplistic creativity in action. I saw another comment about building this lure with kids and I think that’s a fantastic idea. Minimal power tools keeps little fingers safe 👍🏻 I’ll be asking my kids to try building this one. It should make for quality family time in the shop. Thank you so much for the idea!!!
Another simple, but very well thought out lure. Simple doesn't mean easy! You're paint job came out great as well. Lastly, I think this lure creates the appearance of crayfish fleeing, specifically that pulsating motion they create with their tail is approximated by this lures action.
It's The Buc N Craw! Good stuff as always. Your channel is the first watched every Friday! I really appreciate the engineering content. No other lure makers really even make a attempt at it. Good Job! Keep On!
Always enjoy your videos. Especially when you get deep into the math and confuse me then say something like “it’s as easy as that”. I’ll have to come back to this video one day when I’m looking for an activity to do with the kids.
Nice one Franco! Good looking paint job as well! Bonus is that I have a bunch of 1" round wood balls left over from another project :) I specifically like the action as is, by porpoiseing slightly (rather than wobbling) think that it mimics a crayfish closely. Guessing here, but locating the weights deeper in the body (near the middle of buoyancy) may improve the porpoiseing, think that being located below the center of buoyancy stabalizes the lure and dampens the action. Going to make a few of these "crayfish", I might experiment with the bill size, shape and material. You have set a grueling schedule Franco but you seem to be enjoying yourself. I do look forward to your weekly postings but I have to wonder how long you can it keep up. Just saying - inspiration, innovation, making, filming and editing... that's a lot of work to do every week. Take care!
It's nice to know that someone recognizes how difficult it is to put a video out weekly. I really love the process but the time crunch is a bit much. I'll likely be taking some breaks during the holidays. Thanks for your thoughtful comments.
@@EngineeredAngler A suggestion... take the pressure off - don't commit to a specific day, it's ready when it's ready - we will wait (impatiently LOL!) :) and a request... please lower the volume of the background music to the level of your voice (or better, a bit less) so I don't have to keep adjusting the volume - thanks!
This thing is awesome! Love all the videos! Fun to watch, makes me feel like im hanging out with my grandfather.. Thank you! You should try making a wooden/hard body Chatterbait!
Hi there. Fantastic lure design and the action did just get great fo this type of geometry. Congrats for the unexpected lures you are making....Take care.
Great action. Give us longer shots of your paint jobs. It's for us to decide if you are any good or not. Be glad you dont🎉 have an art degree, an engineering degree only blinds you in one eye .........

Thanks...I hope to hook one when it stops raining 😁

Wow, thanks!
Another easy to do lure thanks for sharing
Bravo !
What a funky lure, cool to make with kids.
The french perch would crush it !
Another great video, thank you for bringing them to us.
Awesome lure and great paint job! Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks...it's a fun build
Great lure Franco. It reminds me at the Cormoran Deep Shad. These one coming out in the beginning of the 90ies.
I like that "splotchy" template you used, it looked like one of those decorative hallmark cards. Nice build and the porpoising action was spot on!
Thank you
Another awesome video . It has great action and colors. I look forward to your weekly videos, thanks. Stay safe and tight lines.
Thanks, you too!

Very interesting concept...
Always fun thinking outside of the box...
Nice job!!!
Glad you think so!
another cool little lure mate
I will give this a try. Thanks for video. That lure looked great. Always looking for neat ideas!
Have fun!
Excellent skills 👍
Awww, it’s so cute!!
I love the action on this, and the sink rate is spot on with that of a real craw. Nice job! Well deserved thumbs up.

Absolutely like that one might have to give it a go 👍

that came out great!
Love the simplicity of this lure! Anyone can make this in a few hours!
Awesome as usual thanks for sharing your craft
Thank you! Cheers!
Love the fact that you and I share such a creativity for creating new things. Nice job and full explanation of how you did this.
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool lure
Awesome thank you
Easy nice little bait. Thanks
Glad you like it
@@EngineeredAngler I'll build the bait when I get bullets.
I love it. Great vid
I like it. Im going to make one!!!
Like that will try that one thank ya.
Very fascinating! I thought the paint job was great! I bet you had a "ball" making it LOL 😆
Thank you! Cheers!
@@EngineeredAngler I'd buy ya a beer if I drank Franco 🤪
just awesome
I just got into soft plastic lure making a few months ago. This is good stuff, great video++
It has a really nice tail kicking action like it is an actual crayfish. I might have to make one for spring small mouth fishing
Go for it!

Will you show catching a fish with the lures?
Very cool idea, would love to see a fishing video, with all your recent creations
Coming soon!
You are overly critical of yourself brother. This is an excellent, beautiful build! Warm regards, Cam
Thank you.
Swim it Franco, something will hit it
I enjoy watching your video's, but i didnt need 7 thumbnails of this video.
