Ive seen so many musicians just give it up over the years. There is always a sadness in them. I always try to encourage them , even if it's just to play at home. Living across the street from a University for the last 8 years, I've been able to Mentor students, and most older people would be amazed how many teens, 20's, 30's absolutely LOVE the music I grew up with, playing in my HS band in the 60's and college years of the 70s. I'll write a List of 10 Albums they Need to hear....taylored to their tastes.
Hi Henry, I hear ya about getting throwed out of the House, I've gotten throwed out 4 times, Twice by the same lady :). so I can probably write a whole song about that lol.
Hey Henry, I've been watching for a while and I use BIAB on a MAC. I listen to how you add soloists and vocal backgrounds and it all sounds great. But it seems that no matter what genre or time signature or feel, I can never find anything that matches to allow me to add a soloist or background vocals. For instance I'm working on a country waltz and I would like to add background vocals and there's nothing that matches the time signature. Any quick advice?
Not sure if this helps but I loaded out a country waltz style with a time signature of 3/4 and added a multipart 3 part background vocal and it came out ok. I think sometimes you just need to load out the country waltz style and try different background vocals (mainly ones with a swing feel) and see how they sound.
@@DennyDiamond You probably want it close but you have to try it. Sometimes the realtrack will adjust. I picked a realtrack with a swing style verses just 4/4 and it worked out pretty good.

Write it man and let me hear it :-)
This is really good advice. I’m a senior and I’ll be taking some of these ideas.
Cool. I hope they help !!

So I didn't have to worry about the time signature not being the same?
