During the recent pandemic and seemingly constant world crises - like many others - I found myself feeling helpless and full of unanswered questions. I was profoundly sad for the thousands of families who lost a mother, father, grandparent, child, or a friend. As a "response," I wrote this work as a gift to honor those who lost their lives to this pandemic and the refugee tragedies across the globe. May this smallest of contributions bring some comfort to those left behind. Special thanks to THE NEW AMERICAN VOICES for the marvelous recording.
