I discovered this solution in Windows 11 when Miracast would not work with my Samsung TV. I opened Control Panel and went to Network and Internet then Network and Sharing Center then Change Advanced Sharing Settings then clicked the back arrow in the upper left hand corner of the window which took me to Advanced Network Settings. I saw my Wifi device and clicked the drop down arrow to the right of it. This displayed some connection info and revealed an "Edit" button. I clicked the button which opened a new window with the protocols supported by the Wifi device. I scrolled the list and saw that Internet Protocol Version 6 did not have a checkmark next to it! I immediately checked off the box and clicked ok. I tried reconnecting and it worked without delay. I have spent 2 years trying to resolve this issue...
