    Where do you find your miniature container sunflowers 🌻 My wife passed away last year and they would be perfect for her cemetery plot each year. She loves sunflowers 🌻 😢

      You can find them a little later in the summer season at garden centers. I found these at Home Depot.

    Wonderful tutorials! Is it necessary to snip leaves that are browning as well?

    Does this work for any sunflower, or only dwarf/container varieties?

    Your video is exactly what I was looking for ! Only wish I had seen it first. I might ask though what do I do with the deadheaded flowers? Can I still save the seeds or should I compost them maybe? I’m a garden novice.

    • @GreenBeeExplorer
      @GreenBeeExplorer  2 года назад +5

      Yes you can compost. Let the whole head dry out in the sun. If an seeds developed then you can get those. But then let the seed dry too. If in moisture, they will mold.

    What does it mean when some of the petals are curling, looking droopy and soft, and slightly browning at the very tips? What can I do to fix this? Thanks

    Thank you. I thought mine was done for the season. What do you do with the old blooms?

    • @GreenBeeExplorer
      @GreenBeeExplorer  10 дней назад +1

      Thank you for watching. I am so glad I could help you out. The old blooms I would dry out and save the seeds.

    Even with deadheading I still don’t have nearly as many blooms as I did when I bought it. I have bloom booster fertilizers I use as well. Plant foliage is good and the plant is healthy, just not a lot of blooms. Any help?

    • @GreenBeeExplorer
      @GreenBeeExplorer  Год назад +2

      It takes time. But you will get continuous blooms.
