IMO drivetrain maintenance is a PITA. A well oiled chain also means well oiled rear rim, spokes and chain stays. A clean belt just goes ... It's a no brainer in my book!
If your frame doesn't have a cutout to install the belt, then unfortunately the belt is not really an option. You could try to find a frame builder that would make a cut in the frame and install a coupling, but that in itself would be relatively expensive, and could possibly destroy the frame. Frames for the belt drive also need to be exceptionally stiff, so that the belt doesn't slide off. You also need some sort of tension adjustment (sliding dropout or eccentric bottom bracket). Since you are watching this video, you maybe already have a bullit? Just send an Email to them, I don't think that they will look into the comments.
Cool vid, although still leaves me wondering, why I cannot purchase a replacement belt for my 4 year old bullitt on the official webshop? Only chains!
Drivetrain maintenance is therapeutic... As long as it is yours. I'm telling my friend to go for a belt 🤣

You have a nice point!!!
I like the belt, but iam also intrested if thers any plans about buying with pinion?
Love it
Is it possible that we can order a Bullitt with a Pinion gearbox someday? ☝️🥺
I second that request!
It is. There is a Bikeshop in Bremen, Germany that produces Pinionbullitts. With belt or chain.
@@Knautschfriese ja ich weiß, danke dir, aber ab Werk wäre damit lieber.
Can you convert a frame from chain to belt? My frame has not cut-out for the belt. I hate chains.

www.veercycle.com make belts that can be split so that they work with regular frames.
To the point
