Feeling nostalgic, I sold my Goldwing GL1500 trike recently and am suffering from a dose of seller’s remorse. Great to share your experiences vicariously.😃 Warm greetings from NZ.🇳🇿
I like the videos were you was riding your scooter throwing a tarp over your scooter and sleeping under it and sleeping in random spots because u could get off road better with it and showing us some neat places along the way
1975 bought the first goldwing 1000 cc was a straight bike with a veter fairing and a corbin seat. San Diego up hwy 1 to Portland, dry camping. One month, loved every mile , crossed over to hwy 395 , took another month o get to LA . Two wheels let's you experience the world, not just pass thru in a/c.
Guy's it in your dna just leave me alone, like our early ancestor when first came to this country just wanting to be left alone, in certain part of country you still see that. Nice little video two guys with there Honda and Wavery enjoy life.
Pity I missed Barcelona, I cycled route five by the lake and went into Westfield for accommodation because I couldn't find a camp spot. Had high pressure jobs in my life, but now just work basic jobs.
I always wanted the boss job !! Herding cats is so much fun!! Mental challenge of how to get all those cats going in the same direction so much fun .🎉🎉
Keep making the videos! Holy Crap! I can't believe you were in Mt. Morris, NY. You were only about 15 miles from my house. Mt. Morris is where The Pledge of Allegiance was written. A little tidbit on those vineyards along Lake Erie. They were not only wine grapes but also grapes for Welch's juices and jellies.
@@backwatersandbackroads My St has 7 gallon tank w/ 4 carbs & will go further. The 2020 Goldwing only has 5.5 gallon tank efi. I can get 55mpg out of both. Enjoy them both for different reasons along with the 5 other bikes. Cheers!
Great vid. I wanted an st100 but I'm too big. Had 7 Harleys but my last bike a yellow submarine goldwing was my favorite. Awesome bike fast but poor gas mileage.
What a good Unconditional!!!... She is obviously used to being in a cage... You trained her well... I'm sure the two of you had a blast traveling like that... I would LOVE to do something like that someday🤗🤗🤗
Ironically, there is a lot to say about not talking. When it happens, the conditions are right, one can get the boat just on plane, but just enough. No change to throttle and the hull just brakes the surface tension and settles only to come back up. The whoosh whoosh sound and low hum of the outboard not labored, don't talk. Pure enjoyment when you run miles and miles.
I had a 19 foot welded cabin boat (the salty beagle) with a Yamaha 150 4-stroke that would keep the boat up on plane at 2900 RPMs. Doing 35-40 mph. Amazing
Looks like a great adventure. After 5 real bikes I finally got a scooter. An Ice Bear Mad Dog 150. Looking forward to many adventures. Then here your you are pooping up on this ST. LOL High roller now... LOL The Goldwing without the top box looks pretty temping though.... but I'm not sure about that auto trans... Getting used to the cvt is already being a challenge,
@toddsweeney2871 would you believe I picked up the ST1100 for 900 bucks. ;) they're one of the best deals out there. I talked to a guy who had 200k on his. Indestructible. Scooters can more/less go anywhere, but it's nice to have a "real bike" to keep up with your Goldwing friends occasionally;)
After extensive research on you tube .at 55 mph ..if a deer jumps in front of you it mess!! But at 85 to 100 mph the velocity just cuts the deer in half !! No problem !!
G'day mate, haven't watched you for a loooooonnng time. I have stayed subbed but skipped all your vids that looked like boat stuff, sorry not into that. So when I saw this I decided to watch it and I have learned something too. I am 62 and have just now found out that I am a SIGMA male, never knew...Thanks rsm8
I bet Wavey longs to get back on the water whence the cabin boy fetches and carries. Treats for example. Odd to hear measures and weights in inches and pounds. Did the Yanquis really put a man on the moon? Apart from that, wonderful interesting video and dialogue.
surely the goodness by now you have found out that we are overweight fat and just want to sit here and we'll watch any damn thing as long as it keeps us from doing any serious work
Wow Brenton Lake Erie is my old boating area from end to end both sides but mostly the Erie PA to Ontario's Long Point areas!!! Also when did you get a st 1100 ? I don't think I've ever watched one of your vids with you driving anything larger than a 250 scooter!!!!
i enjoy watching you. i look forwasds to every vidio
Good stuff!
Great video just keep on keeping on
Brenton. I Love all your videos. All the things I like. Motorcycles,Boats, Homesteading, Lighthouses, Travel. Nothing like a motorcycle trip!
We sure appreciate that feedback. Thank you.

Gold Wings are the way to go! I love mine.
@@woodsontr I'm getting one ;)
I happened to own a 1999 St1100 & a 2020 Goldwing tour. Enjoy them both for different reasons. I can get 55 mpg from both.
@pureblood2020 the EFI on the Goldwing must give some serious MPG improvements!

Always open the fill plug first, then the drain plug; in case the fill plug freeze and you have no way of adding oil.

Hi
Make the video if they don't like it to bad. I wish I was doing it.
Probably a little busy to talk about pasties
“Had”. Did you sell the place in Ontonagon?
@rustygunner8282 I use to have a little spot right on the lake. I did sell that a couple years ago. We're now on the river.
@Cool. That’s where you have the floating dock, yes? Looks like the ideal base camp for adventures.
@rustygunner8282 the river spot was such a gift from God. The barge fits under the trestle by inches.
Letchworth State Park?
@woodsontr yes sir! ;) want me to edit up the footage for the back-up channel for you? ;)
