Grace Petrie - Sydney - January 7 2023

Some musicians are meant to be seen live. Grace Petrie and Ben Moss put on a performance that’s not to be missed. However, I must admit until the end of last year I’d never heard of Grace, and it was only the announcement of this tour which prompted me to listen to her music. I knew straight away I wanted to see her live. And I’m so glad I did.
From their two sets I recorded five songs:

and a little of her banter, which was both insightful and very funny. I also bought two CDs. While Spotify is great for discovering new music, when I find something I really like, I want a hard copy.

Great concert. Loved the talk between each song and the wit and kind insight. What an amazing voice! So glad we have voices like this rising up with great urgency and compassion. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully more people will be introduced to Grace and Ben.
