I truly enjoy your videos sir,, although I would have waited to drop the bullion after I poured off the excess pasta water. ✌🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸

Looks good 👍

Great recipe Blackie. - thank you. I did not know about the canned chicken a' al king. I have a Coleman stove like the one you used. During our last power outage that of lasted several days I almost wore my thumb off pumping it up.
i have used mine many times during power outs
Blackie I have never been disappointed with any of your posts they are always very informative and or like this one tasty. Always a pleasure to watch. Thanks again
glad you enjoy them safe journeys
Awesome channel Blackie! From one eld scout to another, bush craft is a chunk of tarpaulin, billy can, knife, wool blanket, Nicolson file(fire steel), knap sack(home made) and a candle. Of course what ever you can scrounge and get away with (beware Mom's wrath). About $50.00 and 15 to 20 lbs. Try that on for size ya yuppies
lol we did with what we had..and made what we needed
@@blackoracle69 You don't really need to much to mess about in the bush. Caught your library vid , one book you forgot and it is a primer is the Boy Scout Handbook. Education is critical, I've seen too many who think thousands & thousands of $ cover everything
Awesome! I think I can now cook something that ain't from a microwave. LOL
Yes you can!
You know I like a good camp cooking video, You still have more of the bouillon and noddles left over for another meal you can boil the noddles in the bouillon water and add some wild edibles and you have another meal or just bouillon water in the winter to warm you up. Thanks I will give this one a try
You got that right! i can flow over to the next nights meal with little effort
Easy, inexpensive, and quick to prepare. That looks like a great meal. Thanks for sharing.
your welcome
Wife just told me, I guess I'll be seeing some cans of chicken a la king on the shelf. Yep.
Hey Blackie, that chicken stew looked great! nice and easy recipe too. Thanks!👍🐓
Thanks for watching
Man, that looks good Blackie. Thanks for sharing! Been hankerin' for one of them bush pots lately. Gonna have to grab one. I like your old Coleman stove too. I have an old 1969 Coleman 502, very similar to yours. Great stoves! Thanks again!
Hope you enjoy
Damnit! Blackie, you've made me hungry and I shouldn't eat this time of night. Or well I guess I'll have to exercise by jogging to the refrigerator. A hungry man has to do what a hungry man has to do!
Great recipe! ATB Sam Adler
lol sorry
You cooked up a good meal. I enjoyed watching. Thanks
thanks safe journeys
Dang good video Blackie, reminds me of when I was a Boy Scout back in the day when we would camp out and fix our meals on a campfire. Good memories.
yep when being a good camp cook was a proud badge of honor
Wow!
It’s a hard job showing us those one pot meals!
😂
Good video!👍
Yes, thank you
Looks delicious.
It was!
Now I’m hungry
well thats a easy fix lol
Nice quick & simple meal Blackie. I prefer making meals like this instead of those freeze dried packaged meals. I have never had a Mountain House or other brand & I even purchased some last year & still haven’t tried them.
i have they can be good and if the weight is the prob they are a good choice..but this type of quick cooking is better in my book
They taste better than they look eat them at night
Certainly looks like a good feed there Blackie, I am going to give it a try at cooking it up on my Trangia, just thinking if Corporal Kelly was there he would of thrown in a whole side of bacon and a bag of cheeze to top it off.
oh yea ya can add to your hearts desire..
I love it. Gonna be the next meal I cook!
good for you..hope you enjoy it
Lookin’ good! That storm is getting here soon... I’m not ready for the dreaded “12”...take care my friend.
You and me both!
Glad I was eating while watching this. Looks good.
you can spice it or add to it as you see fit..easy to make and adapt with
that's my perfect camp snack Blackie, Thanks ATVB
yep it fills ya up
Last time I had chicken ala king was the MRE in the military. Your version looks like it's much more palatable 😀
oh yes it is.the mre version reminds me of the ham and eggs chopped from vietnam c rations
@@blackoracle69 lol... don't forget them yummy ham and lima beans....🤢
Hot damn that looks good, think I'm going to make me some this week.
its easy and you can use what ever noodles ya got
@@blackoracle69 yep and I might try some pea's and carrots or corn with it as well. I can see this as a baked casserole as well.
Thanks Blackie another great video and recipe. Although i unable to find that canned chicken you used. I wonder if wallyworld chicken in those little pouches would work? Hmm?
Yes it does if got mine from walmart its a hit or miss from store to store..but the canned chicken i used came from mine
I think you may be trespassing Black, I hear someone shooting at you.
Looks great the only thing missing is a big hunk of corn bread thanks blackie
yep that would have been perfect
I'm gona have to give that a try.
You come up with these recipes or do you have a bush pot cook book?
If not you should write one.
All the best too you & yours 👍
haha i just found what i had and what tasted good over the yrs
Awesome! Keep em coming😀 I believe I have the same pot. Can I ask what the bag is for your pot? I just use a cheap one to keep the soot off my other things
made mine out of scrap leather and a u.s. army duffle bag canvas type that i salvaged a few yrs ago
Looks great but I would add some peas carrots and celery to put vegetables in it and be more stew like just a thought you had enough room in the pot
the sky's the limit..add what ever ya got on hand
The wooden spoon breaks the surface tension.
yes and the bubble cannot hold due to it
What? No Tabasco!
Sacrilegious
nope doc say no ..so we gotta go with the flow
