- I beat my record! Again?
I may be the speedrunner, but this was a group effort between everyone who helped and participated. They all had an important role to play and it wouldn't have been possible without any of them.
There are some mistakes in this speedrun. We wasted some time in herb cave because I couldn't correctly set my guild xp to 100 when I was close to leveling up. There was also some sloppy parkour skills in cur because I was stressed.
In the splits you can see that the run was supposed to end at 106. My storage got full after 35 minutes of recording so it automatically stopped. I still got the recording for 1-105 however. For those curious, the 1-106 time was 1:11:00.

In less than 3 and a half minutes, this man got more levels than my highest level class.
imagine being some random new playing slaying zombies and you see some guy go at mach 20 out of ragni and become an unstoppable god
I thought "Oh this is cool, I'll probably just skip to the end soon" and before I knew it I watched the whole thing. Why does this capture my attention better than twitch streams

imagine being a wynncraft boss, and a whole organization of maxed out diamond gear holds your whole dungeon as this one dude runs from start to finish, being guarded like a vip

quick question, what gear were u using and if by grinding normally would the set still be effective?
all the armor was crafted and the ingredients were nerfed, there are other recipes that work now (i don't have them all available rn)
it is a HUGE time save even when leveling up normally! what takes someone a whole day to get from 1-105 can take a couple of hours at most.

And also how do you make all these crazy things that made you level up so quickly. I mean potions, armour, second armour etc. And what is this trick with herb cave that you have mentioned?
The gear is all crafted xp gear, the recipes took a while to make. The trick with herb cave is to use 2 mob totems and drag half of them over to one side so we can get x2 mobs

What ingredients did you use for the helmet and chestplate at 6:53 and the accessories in your inventory at 14:20?
The helmet and chestplate at 6:53 were made with pure quartz which was nerfed in 1.20. The accessories at 14:20 were made with ancient coins as the main xp ingredient.

How long does it take to get to 106 if you only grind mobs and dungeons without exp buffs?

I can’t wait to see what you and your team (ambassadorzor, fish etc) can do with 1.20 to speed run. The starts are definitely going to be different without herb etc.

How do you get wynncraft to look like that? The items have background colors and you have arrows guiding you

100% would take so many hours and probably wouldn’t be as interesting, I talked more about this in another reply somewhere in this comments section
What set of armor do you use? What’s the crafting ingredients?
the armor is crafted, the main xp ingredients are "lucky rabbit's foot" and "aged medallions"

While I'm of the opinion that if you're trying to get to level 100 in a speedrun that you shouldn't have outside help and that you should start with nothing, the fact that you beat my current level in like seven minutes is pretty damn admirable.
it'd be way slower and less entertaining to do it with no help, but i'm still thinking about doing it

could you explain what the gxp technique was?
being closer to leveling up when finishing a dungeon causes some xp calculation error to occur giving you more xp. the point of toggling gxp is to make so that i can be as close to leveling up as possible without actually leveling up.

Please explain to me why grabbing op items from an echest in the very beginning isn’t cheating.
I think you should call this any% New Game Plus or NG+ since you basically start with the best horse and incredible items right off the bat, where speedruns in any other minecraft category or any other actual any% run ever starts with absolutely nothing.
There is an any% no bank mode on the speedrun.com leaderboards. However a run with no bank (includes player trading) is significantly longer and less interesting to watch (for a majority of new and old players).
Also I’m trying to speedrun an MMO to what is considered max level. That type of run isn’t really popular since it isn’t viable for a lot of people. The whole point of the speedrun was to push the game to its very limits in what is considered possible, and not really a viable game to consistently speedrun. It’s not meant to guide and this speedrun should be a enjoyed as entertainment.
It’s also why I’ve done only 3 speedruns of this And I probably have other replies explaining the same thing if you want to read more about it.

I wonder how many other speedruns cost real money to run and/or need to be done at a specific time
to get a decent time you need to buy combat xp/dungeon bombs. generally you can get friends who already spend a lot of money on the server to throw them for you

Use the command /lootrun
This is pretty neat, but you had all the gear set up and pre-crafted, and a bunch of high-level players helping out. I want to see the speedrun where you have NO aid, a complete solo run with no prepared gear. I would also be interested in a party speedrun, where you have your party members but all of them have to be new players with no prepared gear.
While I’ve thought about doing similar challenges in the past, here’s why I probably wouldn’t do them:
1. It would take a very long time
2. Wouldn’t be super entertaining content
3. I don’t have the time or motivation to plan something like that.

Well I only have 2 friends so this is basically impossible for me😂 its fun to see beceause I started playing wynn like in 2012 and back then the lvl cap was 70 and it took me a year to get to lvl 70😂 also my friend and I just explored for hours and did stupid random things so yeah😂

Its a feature of the mod Wynntils, u can save pre recorded paths. Its mainly used for lootrunning tho

no bank speedruns also mean no trading with players, it's like doing a speedrun with the ironman challenge. could be interesting but no where near as fast as with bank

What's the idea behind contributing XP to someone else?
basically for some reason, we can get astronomical more amounts of xp from finishing dungeons if we're closer to leveling up, no one really knows why and the /xp 100 thing is so that we don't level up when discovering new territories

nonsense. You cant do speedruns by taking look from previous games and taking mounts from other players. Thats not how speed runs are done lol.
In the rules it is stated that you can get loot from trading/transfering items from other accounts through the bank`
