Thing is, in League's clip they're fighting for a very important objective while in Dota's they're only fighting for a rune that appears every 2 mins. Imagine contesting actual objectives in Dota. Im not saying runes are not an important resource, its pretty fucking powerful advantage and often sways the game in favor of the team that could control it. My point is; while runes are important, objectives are even more so. If i have to choose to defend a tower or contest a rune, i would most likely defend the tower. And that teamfight in the dota clip was already that intense, imagine the fights happening near Roshan.

Sometimes, but cannot be said generaly. I remember that final, one side was just heavily outclassed. And when you have a series that is not close at all, noone cares, the atmosphere is dead. Also for LoL, they tune the audio for past couple of years. In the arenas, they always have the casters like 10 meters away from the crowd, so they down the volume so that you can actually hear the casters. Which results in the streams being very silent. You can hear it a bit as well, because there is no "arena echo" in the LoL clips. If you search for "xPeke backdoor" here on youtube, you will get the jist of how old days League was streamed. The same "arena echo". And that particular moment was in quaterfinals of the tournament, not even a final. Back in the day, IEM was one of the biggest tournaments for LoL. To sum up, it depends on the match and opponents really. I have watched both DotA and LoL competetive play and both games are capable of maximum hype but also total sour audience with 0 reactions. TobiWan is probably the best esports caster anyways.

The problem I see is there's no good comeback mechanic in League.. unlike DotA.. just the buyback system alone makes professional DotA more exciting because that's one hell of a comeback mechanic and teams who are supposed to lose the game can win in one team fight because of buybacks.. in league, every team fight is crucial because losing one member early in the fight can lose the entire game.. even if that death was from a support..

you know looking at it multiple times I can barely keep up with the fights in dota but I just know what's going on with league. like rosh stunning venomancer actually lost them that fight after jug got the DD. it is a blink it and you miss it moment but in that fight a very small change completely shifted the fight. had jug went down the entirety of dire would have been completely fodderized afterwards.

Not 1 decent league player considers dota 2 easier, i'd say over 99% of the league players would say dota 2 is too hard to pick up. So i was talking with a friend that left league for how toxic it was after he reached over lvl 25, then when i see myself trying out Dota 2 because a friend plays it, i get insulted so much in every single pvp game i play, even when i had played less than 10 games just wow. League is more defensive and dying is a lot more punishing than dota2, thats why in league guides and tips videos you are told to NOT die. In Dota2 you are more rewarded for playing aggresive and dying is less punishing. Both game prioritize different skills, so its not fair comparing a dota2 fight against a lol fight, since in dota2 a fight doesnt mean that you instantly lose, compared to league that losing half hp during the later phases can mean you lose the game even if it sounds stupid. I have played too little dota2 to see the whole differences between both games. So what i take is that dota2 people are more elitists and toxic because of how hard the game is, cant accept that people enjoy an easier game, and cant understand why more people play that instead, Dota2 players are good teachers and also have a lot more patience to newcomers if they just ask for help. Not 1 decent league player considers dota 2 easier, i'd say over 99% of the league players would say dota 2 is too hard to pick up.
So i was talking with a friend that left league for how toxic it was after he reached over lvl 25, then when i see myself trying out Dota 2 because a friend plays it, i get insulted so much in every single pvp game i play, even when i had played less than 10 games just wow.
League is more defensive and dying is a lot more punishing than dota2, thats why in league guides and tips videos you are told to NOT die. In Dota2 you are more rewarded for playing aggresive and dying is less punishing. Both game prioritize different skills, so its not fair comparing a dota2 fight against a lol fight, since in dota2 a fight doesnt mean that you instantly lose, compared to league that losing half hp during the later phases can mean you lose the game even if it sounds stupid.
I have played too little dota2 to see the whole differences between both games.
So what i take is that dota2 people are more elitists and toxic because of how hard the game is, cant accept that people enjoy an easier game, and cant understand why more people play that instead, Dota2 players are good teachers and also have a lot more patience to newcomers if they just ask for help.
League players are more immature, lower ranked people trying to teach newcomers end in a lot of misintepretations of how the game works, also they have little to no patience to newcomers. Also they always always argue like children, or they are children or both.
