If you can transcribe 1:26-4:26 (Baroque-Influenced Out of Nowhere, that would be really awesome! I want to learn to play that!!)

That "out of nowhere" was out of nowhere -- definitely didn't swing rhythm-wise, but harmony-wise is completely out of this world. RIP Ted and thanks

There is a transcription of the first and fourth video on baroque. It's by Will Kriski, and you can find it on Ted Greene site.

We can hear that although He plays in the Direction of Bach, still he has to work on modulations Bach him self experienced this problem in compositions...The Harmoisches labyrinth when he would have improvised on a more specific Theme and than without talikning just practricing hole form Toica to setup the theme and than the middlee part climax... I also can hear that he didn´t played too much Bach pieces he is Just very talented, and of course alone in the World doning that I myself worked on a system encoded one, and was able to improvise fugato...at 1996 i was improvising baroque at The Bath festival in Great Britain als on eyear later playing Italian Concerto and ten years later paleyd hole Goldbergvariations because I transcribes so much I see very clear that is polyphonic counterpoint has only to be perfected in the sense of the total form...he gets lost in the end but still a remarkable achievement...Also recoqnice afwully lots because guitar is the same instrument i did it on classical guitar...I have one student at this moment who comes over now and than to study together we´ll see if he will learn this difficult art, In the Imprivising on a theme than recording yourelf listening if you realy can imp°rovise one hole form that is not getting lost but comes home safe is the Goal for Baroque imprivisation. It seems to be possible to improvise at the level of a composition but with guitar you have to keep at 3-4 maximum vocies and don´t let complexity rule you You have to be Master of the complexity and leat it back to the Keys that are related somehow to the main key al the time modulating or too quick modulating is the problem with improvisation classical if you do that too much... the Hole form is needed to correct yourself in the big picture. But if he would have the possibilty to live longer in the end he would have Mastered it three levers further... I am Shure....

He shakes out his hand periodically. Does anyone know if he had chronic hand issues? I know on an earlier vide from this lesson he does mention cramping.

This style is just difficult to finger. I think he said his hand is cramping up because he hasn’t been practicing it lately
