The Ford B250 should have been built in America to compete against the International travel all and Chevrolet GMC Suburban back then this could be the grandfather of the Ford Excursion in my opinion
would have been awesome
That B250 opens up all kinds of possibilities.
agreed
Well now , that’s one of one!!! Double take everywhere ya go !
My favourite year of Ford truck is the '77. Ever since I first heard of the B-100's, I dreamed of taking a short box '77 F-250 Ranger XLT crew cab 4x4, and replacing the box with the back of a B-100 with doors on the back hinged at the sides. Paint it black with '77 F-series accurate Ford Free Wheelin' style, and looking towards '78/'79 Broncos of similar trim on how to make the interior look. I'd keep the chrome bumpers and grill though as I don't care for the blacked out look. I had no idea that B-250's actually existed before seeing this video! What a beautiful machine!
im not too sure yet but you have some good taste
@@FordEra Thank you!
Man that 77 B250 looks beautiful brother l, love the Red and White color.
Thanks, it’s a bit more orange in person but still great
That is a great truck. Love the colors
First time I've seen one in America! This is awesome.
Glad you liked it!
I'm a Chevy man but I like some old Ford's and dodges too!!the 67-72 bumpside ford trucks and the 73-80 Chevrolet roundeye squarebodys were the best trucks ever made!!💗 i wish ford made theese in the USA it could have been a great competitor against the suburban back in the day!💗
That's the sweetest thing I've seen for awhile
thank you
Back in the days when those were common, there were always hubcaps in the ditches.
I lost a few myself and was almost hit by a flying hubcap once.
Love that truck though.
Thank you, i wish i could find these hubcaps in ditches now
I refreshed my research. It was Ford Brazil where the Bump side continued to be produced. And it was made until 1998 down there. They were overwhelming diesel engines too because they’re a major diesel production country Im guessing. Anyways. They got all the old body panel and frame rail stamps that were no longer used in the US.
yes sir
That truck is super mint! 👌 I love the poverty caps they turned out great.
thank you
What a nice truck.
It looks and sounds so good, I never seen one before now.
thank you, glad to show ya
Trucks looks amazing!
I was pretty impressed with how nice the hubcaps came out, the stickers made them awesome
thanks man, those little details really do set it off
Never saw this style truck before, crazy cool.
Man, if I had the money. I'd buy that in a minute!
The original excursion. Sexy truck
Thanks
They look awesome in 2 tone!
Absolutely beautiful find. It's a shame we didn't get these here, but just like with the classic station wagons the bubba's would have used these in the demo derby's. Like the idea of a Godzilla swap for the engine. I wouldn't lift it, but if I did choose to do that I'd kept it tame with no more than a 3". It has so much going for it looking stock I'd get concerned doing too much more. I love the caps on it. Since it's colors are sort of like the Buccaneers you could call it Captain Morgan or the Creamsicle Dream.
I agree with it not being too lifted. Why not Buck' maybe
There n mexico
1977 excursion
Ooh first time seeing a Carry All Ford. I love it ♥️
thank you
Awesome, WHERE can I get those HUB CAP DECALS?
Don’t change a thing! Awesome Ford.
Always remember to film the badges on these vehicles
Also make a cool beach surfing rig. Do a weld tech lift and get some bigger tires
good idea
Incredible find! Love it!!!!!!!!!
🙏
Nice find.
Thanks!
a prequel to ford excursion. i like it.
yes it is
7.3 powerstroke with allison. Great find.
thats a great package
Sweet find!!👍🏽✌🏽
Thanks 👍
Enjoy your channel!!👍🏽🤙🏽
Wow that truck is immaculate 🤩🔥
thank you
Doug Demuro needs to do a review of the Ford B 150
this is my dream truck.
Always loved the B250s nice buy brother!
Thanks 👍
Now that's what I'm talking about, you making me want to trade the bronco!
haha
That thing is incredible. I'd daily it with the family
Saw went on a trailer in Kennewick Washington a few weeks ago. It was a newer model though it was Post 92
Absolutely beautiful! Why Ford didn’t produce these here I have no idea! I have a 78’ short box crew cab 300 I6 standard 4x4 and always wondered why Ford didn’t compete against GM for a suburban style truck but I’ll never sell my old girl , my daughters have dibs on it lol enjoy that beautiful machine bro! 🇨🇦
That's a nice looking truck. A friend of mine has a 1949 Ford truck that the previous owner put in a Nissan 2.7 Turbo Diesel, they must be an easy swap.
or plentiful
Looks like a Nissan fork lift engine , and the rear side windows look like there from a Ford Van also the rear hatch looks like a Ford fiberglass camper shell door , Vary cool rig
thanks bud
Omg Awesome now I'm looking for a 70 B250 but hopefully in a 2wd, looking to lower one!
Ive been keeping my eyes peeled for one
Very cool. 😉👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Dude I would trade my whole collection of ford's for that thing awesome truck
thanks man she is cool
Cool as hell !
thank you
Beautiful truck! Love the color combinaion! Since the truck it's from South America, what about AC?
Thank you, It will eventually get AC
Saludos desde Tijuana esta chingona
That's crazy it's a 3 door suv too.
sure is
USA should have got these. I think they would have sold well. They are quite similar to the International-Harvester Travelall.
I want it!!! Nice find
thnaks
That is a unique Carry All being a 3/4 chassis and with the 4 cylinder diesel.
yes sir, thank you
@@FordEra Mexico never had a 3/4 ton truck to make that. All Carry Alls here are 1/2 ton models.
That year and maybe others look like they finished off the cab corners better to match more factory style. Pretty wild. Is there a dealer you go through in Columbia?
I agree, these B250 colombian models look more like they should. I just keep my eyes open
Definitely make it a 4x4 and Ford power
Killer truck just killer
thanks
a 6.7 power stroke would be awesome !
yes it would
Nice,very nice.
Thanks a lot
That’s a beautiful rig
look for rust and hidden damage that truck looks to nice..I used to Live in Colombia..ask me how i know how stuff is done good trucks also the old land cruisers are good also
Great find! Love the Godzilla idea. Good luck with the build.
Thanks!
You will make bank on it t💰💰👍
I love this. Yank that mit diesel and add a 460. I love these. Wondering the cost and shipping costs to bring it to the Us 🤔
thanks man, its about the same price as crew cab fords
Three questions :
1. How many projects do you have going ?
2. Have you ever finished any of your projects
3. Are you a trust fund baby ?
1. Active projects around 20
2. Yes, but then I get bored and sell it. So now I just keep improving while enjoying them.
3. I wish I was. If you go to my first youtube channel @unibodyunion you will see my humble beginnings. Im the product of hard work & dedication.
I know in a lot of the South American Ford plants they made the older body styles much later because they would get the body stamps from the US once they were done with the run here. Their safety regulations weren’t as strict as ours. For example they made the bump side until 1992 in Argentina I believe is where it was. But one of those places for certain. I read up on that a while back. Is it possible this i any a newer made vehicle?…and you should call it Butterscotch. Not that it matters. It’s not gonna come when you call it.
I think you mean Brazil. Argentina-, Chile-, Colombia-, Ecuador- and Venezuela-built trucks were the same as US. Brazil, on the other hand, built Bumpsides between 1971 and 1992 and switched to gen. 9 in the 90s, so Dentsides, Bullnoses and Flatnoses were left out.
You better inspect that thing good
You might be riding dirty😂
Haha 😂
Super cool. Where in Colombia did you find it? I have a place just outside of Medellin. Now I want one.
Found in Santander
It’s beautiful 😍
thanks
That’s awesome ! How much did it cost to have that shipped or whatever from Columbia
It was around $7500
Wow so what did you pay total for that truck if you don’t mind me asking ? Are the vehicles over there cheaper? We’ll prob not with having to pay shipping. But yeah awesome channel man I love the old fords especially odd ball ones like this
This Ford is the full size SUV version of the Chevy suburban but in Ford. This full size Ford SUV was made before the Expedition.
BADASS
Definitely no super duty axles. Find a king pin Dana 60 to put up front so you can keep the 8x6.5 wheels.
I don’t like how the original axles don’t turn very wells
I jus seen another one of these but a newer model from Mexico on hooligan s I think , I feel like Americans where cheated out of these and the new ramcharger s , don't know why they wouldn't sell these in the states , is that what came in it was a turbo diesel ? Think the other one had a straight 6 in it , can't remember , pretty awesome find though 👍👍👍
agreed we should have had these and this had a 390 in it originally
Never seen one before
bring back the garden gnome beard its monumental
haha, my wife wasnt down anymore and got to keep her happy
@@FordEra haha fair enoughv
Ha. Just took delivery and already has a Ford Era stickers on it.
Correct, I brought them with me in my pocket and stuck them on when i got there
God status. Speechless 👍
:)
Cool!
Yes super duty axles but since it's already diesel, fit it with a diesel burning "Godzilla" 7.3 with a turbo.
hmm
Wow that's cherry
Thanks
I'd like to hear about the history of these trucks-----Mikey
How do I find one. Need to get one to go with my excursion
I import and sell them
Is that a Ford Centurion. I know they used to do a lot of those. Small company I believe in Missouri
Centurion made four door Broncos, with a "removable" rear cover just like a two door. They're unique and rare but this truck ain't that.
Daaaamn
right
After seeing this I'm much happier with my t'all. This looks to be built in Bubbas backyard not a factory
If it was 4x4 it would awesome. But as it is I would like to have one.
It will be one day
I want one
Make sure you don't do a burnout in it and shred the quarter panel off of it.
Why not, it’s my truck
6.7 powerstroke or 7.3 godzilla 👌🏻
both great options
Just leave the B250 as it is , they are not common, enjoy it for what it is, however it is your B250
What will you be doing with Nissan engine after it’s removed
Likely stick it in another truck of mine
Been looking into importing something similar for a bit now. Overall, how difficult is the process? I know it takes time, but not sure on the difficulty
on a 1 - 10 scale, its a 5
@@_Texas_Rebel_ You are going to go all the way to South america when Mexico is right here?
If it runs and drives ok, why not drive it for awhile as is? 🤷♂️
While you may have bigger aspirations, there are some of us that can benefit from non traditional engine swaps.
Could make good content while you’re planning it upgrades.
Cool find.
Would love to have one myself.
👍😎
I am daily driving it as is right now.
Only once I have all the parts ill tear into the truck. its actually a really good and realiable rig right now.
Holy shit, it's a Diesel too.
Fresh seats, coyote, and make it 4wd.
the seats are crispy
Fords version of the Suburban for the South American market?
Basically yew
7.3 swap maybe ? Other than engine everything looks really nice on that rig
Godzilla!
Just leave it as it is in my opinion, why swap to that engine if the truck will enjoyed the way it is, not every vehicle needs to swapped to the largest factory offered engine.
Mint
not like your 75
solomon do you know anybody repoping the decals for the 70-72 f100-350 ranger xlt trim at all let me know
I do not
You should try Phoenix graffix in Arizona
Is it an Automatic, or Stick ? I would strongly prefer a Stick if it's an Automatic
its a stick
7.3 Powerstroke swap it! Very nice other than that👍
that would be so awesome in their
I would godzilla swap it with a supercharger crown vic swap the front-end dropped it on some bags put the same wheels as gold dust but paint them the cream color with the thin whitewalls with the dog dish hubcaps with 5% tint all around and 35 on the windshield also I would take the rack off the top or have one built like the Vista cruisers have on them
Right on
