When you're fighting a Battleship as a Cruiser, just use HE. The armor on a Battleship is too high for an Average Cruiser's guns to penetrate. It's better to use HE and just attempt to stack fires to delay the damage control.
Those occasional AP pens were juuuust enough to get me to keep trying

Subs are actually the only class I've never played: I haven't made it high enough in the rankings to see them in play much

Sorry you feel that way! We just had a special non-sponsored Hunt: Showdown video last week and we'll have an early access video of an indie FPS coming later this week. The sponsored videos take a lot of pre-approvals and scheduling so sometimes they end up falling closer together than is ideal. As I said in this video though, it's always great to do sponsorships for games I'm already playing and enjoying on my own. :)
EDIT: and of course, feedback like this is very helpful when I'm planning out content so don't hesitate to share it
I remember a few years ago that Dave had a son so he had to divert most of his time being a husband and father. This was before COVID obviously and I also recall his frequency in uploading videos being reduced than what it used to be. That said he is still pretty active in providing content despite having real life stuff, sponsored or not.
@@RangerDave wym non-sponsored hunt:showdown video, it literally has a "includes paid promotion" on it 😅 Idk if it is a youtube issue miscatorizing it or what as i did not stick around to find out if its an ad or not.
@@Dx_Ach haha sorry yes that's confusing.. I'm a member of the Hunt Creator Program so even when I'm not getting paid for a video (like that last one) I still like to leave the disclosure on the video.
