not only did you make it to a jingles video. it's also NOT a game of throws video! i think that's about all anyone could hope to achieve playing world of warships. that's game completed. 100% challange done. nothing higher to gain at this point.
this could of been a game of throws, if that carrier was going south east instead of north east he wouldn't of been found and would of gotten a solo warrior (i think that is be the last member on your team alive and win against 5 or more, might of got the number wrong.....)
But can we appreciate how the Protagonist and the Vermont took 9 ships down tho? Like yes, they avoided the cap, but they got down to business. A Devastating Strike team of sorts. Also, Vermont's AA chewed on a whole bunch of T8 Planes. Beautiful.
Ruggiero = Roger, try something like "Roodjero". For de Lauria it is close enough, try to pronunce the first two vocals distinctly, and stress the initial part not the last. Hey, YOU asked for i... wait, what's that click?
I just love it when you casually hear Akizuki chirping in the background. Some youtubers will re-record stuff if their pets start playing up whilst they're recording. But not Jingles! and I love it.
I must admit, up until the carrier got spotted, I thought the match was lost. But then came the happy end. And I do love happy endings, doesnt matter if its a jingles video, a movie or a massage... 😘
7:06 Jingles: *Oh, he got the armor piercing loaded for this one, I can see this ending well for ... No* and cue the infectious laughter. That laughter of you Jingles is one of the best things in you vid's! 17:00: Kinda missed some Torpedo beats there... ... yes feline overlady back to the salt mines I go
I'm half and half between this and incomparable. But the more videos I see, the more lauria is looking like the one to go for, but at the same time giant guns do make a compelling argument.
0:35 honestly not bad. Seeing as my name is Ruggero I was dreading the moment hahahaha. Surprisingly you pronounced the first name better than the last name, but overall good. Well done Jingles! :)
The cool thing about that damage record is that it was made with a good team, working together, and winning, instead of one player being forced to take all the risks and do all the work, which usually results in a loss, but a very high damage total for the one committed player.
Look at that! Jingles was willing to ask for help with pronouncing the name of the battleship! It shows he truly cares for accuracy... As long as it isn't FRENCH
The Ruggiero seems very, very handy on the helm; some of these fast battlecruisers have an enormous turning radius. This one seems like it responds quick and sweet to your rudder. There was a certain amount of luck involved in that torpedo dodge but he still got his bow over FAST when he started turning.
Watching the Vermont turn hard to starboard seemingly just to avoid capping A for no explicable reason was the single most frustrating thing I've seen in a replay for months
note how the Vermont later kept ordering the Mino to go and cap A as well, then failed to finish capping B and had to reverse back in. That team honestly would have deserved to lose.
I was thinking for a while "since when is 19km main battery range bad?" - then I remembered I was a torpedoboat player who intentionally keeps the main battery range down to make it easier to break detection. Even then though for a battleship it doesn't feel that bad for me, I mean it can reach across half the map just fine. And he even has some kind of skill that increases his range when he gets kills! On top of the spotter plane.
Jingles: "And it looks like the Yoshino has finally figured out where his W key is." Me watching the Yoshino trying to hide from the Vermont: "Nope, that's his S key!" 🤣🤣
Howdy Gnomish Admiral. Please give the kitties treats and scritches. Their comments were on the money. Howdy to Rita as well. Our protagonist set the damage record bar high but not unattainably high. Yaknow, I know this talk of armor and overmatch and all that makes good copy and all that, but I feel like it's in the fuzz. What really matters is whether the shells land on the target. When you look at most salvos where Jingles says "That's disappointing" or something, you see this: the shells didn't fail to penetrate or fail to citadel -- either through bad luck, bad aim or good dodging, they failed to hit at all. The thing with SAP is your aiming point: You're aiming just above the belt rather than the waterline, so more shells hit the ship rather than the water in front of it. Armor *can* make a difference, but the effect is insignificant compared to the effects of aim and dodging.
I'm thinking they were avoiding A-cap to prevent narrowing down their position in a killbox while unspotted. That, or they just wanted to flex. "We don't NEED A-cap to win."
Jingles. You always say the armor on a ship is in millimeters. You said it can penetrate 32mm. A battleship will have 32cm or 320 mm of armor. Unless you are talking about the very thinnest part... I think your units have been off all along. Am I wrong?
This may be a hot take but I think the damage records should come only from standard battle. It's known that Arms Race battles have more HP running around and so you can farm much higher damage than should be possible. So I think if you have a monster game in a battle where everyone's HP is what they got and there's no artificial inflation then that should be the damage record. Of course I understand that damage records will only ever be so high because there's only so much HP to every ship but I still think it's a more fair system rather than people trying to get an Arms Race where they were able to farm a bunch of regenerating battleships
Fourth comment: Wouldn't damage done in an arms race be calculated as your damage done divided to total damage done. Total damage done by the team = 100% Your damage done = xx%
I'm pretty sure that the damage in Arms Race is calculated in exactly the same way as either Domination or Standard. It just adds up the damage directly caused by your ship. It's all the buffs you and the enemy team pick up, that increase your potential damage. It's why most individual max damage records occur in Arms Race battles.
I'm surprised you've mentioned NOTHING about achievement with special commander, of extended guns range - even though it landed right in the middle of the screen - after mentioning a relatively poor range of guns, Jingles... Basically you haven't mentioned any of 3 achievements of the special commander, which he achieved one by one (extended guns range, then faster reload of main batteries, and longer time for consumables at the end).
@@Trapper50cal it has two slashes, but the ship itself is described as a Battlecruiser, such as a Kongo or Hood or Renown. These are not battleships, they are battlecruisers. High speed is not uncommon for them

yup, thats our Jingles! and we wouldn't want him any other way!
to be fair, once he got slapped he did find his W key just not when jingles said it lol

Frostbite's torpedo dodge on the Yoshino 😂😂😂 that was awesome
I think the bow of his ship clipped off the torpedo's motor - nice of him to disable it so it couldn't hit a teammate behind him XD

honestly damage records in arms race should be its own category, similar to how game speed running have numerous categories.

First it was the Thunderer. Then it was the St Vincent (extra gun, faster, better dispersion, super heal & torps). Now it's a Thunderer with SAP
It's a lot more tanky than Thunderer.
