You introduced this brand to me, and I've been looking over their whole product line, and I think this is my favorite bag that they make.
Received the bag yesterday in black X-pac with marigold interior, grab handle & red paracord pulls. Love everything about this bag. The strap is somewhat rigid but I’ve found it makes it easier to throw over my head and take-off. This is now my everyday carry. A zipper pocket inside would be my only suggestion.
I watched Greenroom136's Intro video to this when it release a couple days ago - I just love their sense of humor. This was just about an insta-buy for me except that like you, I too would prefer to have the beautiful marigold liner. I've been waiting for a bag just like this - shape, organization and carry style all tick my boxes - but I fear I'll buy one and a couple months later they'll release with the gold lining!
That’s always the risk right? Buy it and then a slightly improved version comes along. But in that event you can always sell yours on eBay or another 2nd hand market and then snag the new one :)
@@ThePerfectBag So Greenroom136 did confirm by responding to my comment on their video of the Quickdraw that yes, the marigold liner will make a comeback in their round 2 production in a couple months.

I’m definitely gonna hold off for the high vis lining, but this is pretty genius looking… I’m totally into it.
I’ve got to say, I’ve been using it for two weeks now, and the grey liner is growing on me - especially with the bright yellow exterior

I just got one, my first Greenroom bag. (Their shipping is weirdly fast.) You aren't kidding about those zippers, they are incredibly loud. My other initial thoughts are that I wish there was a stiffener in the bottom, as this would help it hold its shape depending on load, and I wish the slip pockets in the main compartment either were made of stretch mesh or else were three-dimensional to give them more volume to store objects that aren't flat.

Hye..which one do you prefer between quickdraw and CT5 by chuyentactical? Which one better?..it would be great if u can make a comparison video between quickdraw and CT5 because these two bags quite phenomenon at my country..thanks😊
Very different bags. The CT5 rides crossbody and is very tight inside. The QuickDraw rides lower and is wide-open and a larger bag. I prefer the QuickDraw, but the CT5 is a different kind of bag.
Do you by chance know the dimensions, the height, the width, and the depth of the bag visually impaired and I didn’t hear anything about that. And their website is not easy for me to navigate and their customer service has not gotten back to me when I sent them messages.

I've read up a bit more and it seems like this bag is just slightly too small. If it were an inch or two bigger it'd be perfect but as it stands I dont think it would fit my tablet :/ I'm still considering it but the size limits potential usage and I'm not sure if it's worth it. I might look at their other messenger bags.

They really should update the inside lining. The gold is kinda their calling card by now. Weird that it's gone.
I thought it was weird too, but I’m going to hold off and let them try some new things :-)
On their quick draw video they said they'd be adding the gold lining in the next round of production!! :)

I'm looking to pull the trigger on this lol. Just wondering since you have experience with Greenroom. Is the VX42 going to be noticeably lighter? And seems like the Cordura has a little less structure and sags under weight from the inside, would the VX42 be stiffer you think? Last thing, how does that cordura shoulder pad feel on clothes, will it grab? or is it smooth, I always here cordura can abrade clothes. But I worry if I go VX42, it will be slippery on the shoulder there.

Based on my experience with the north seeker, there wasn’t a lot of weight savings with the VX

Can it fit a steam deck?

I just received mine earlier today. A Steam Deck just barely fits in the main compartment without any sort of case (neither the included case or the tomtoc slim case). It will not fit in the "tablet sleeve". It's a major disappointment for me as I really wanted this bag to fit the steam deck protected in its case along with my other carry essentials. But I just won't risk my steam deck free floating in this bag. There is zero protection. FYI: Steam Deck is 11.7 inches in length. The Quickdraw is 11 inches.
I amend my earlier statement, I erroneously believed a steam deck was an 11 inch device like my iPad!!!!!
